As explained during the viewing, the issue you referenced relates to a historic leak which has already been fully repaired. The previous tenants have now vacated the property, and remedial works are currently underway to treat and redecorate the affected area.
The visible marking is staining resulting from the previous leak rather than ongoing damp. We appreciate that it may not have appeared at its best during the viewing; however, the necessary repairs have been completed and cosmetic restoration is in progress.
As a company, we would not market or let a property with an ongoing leak or mould issue. We are fully aware of, and operate in line with, current housing legislation and habitability standards.
We take all property condition concerns seriously and ensure that any issues are resolved appropriately before a tenancy commences.

GoogleWe are landlords and had used Your Move in the past when they had an office in Perth. We had slight reservations about using an agent in Dundee for a property in Perth but we need not have worried. Carol and Paul were helpful, professional and excellent at keeping us up to date at every stage of the process. They arranged for a photographer to do a virtual viewing which worked extremely well and found a tenant relatively quickly.

GoogleFirst time owners and we decided to keep the property with Your Move like the previous owner had, in order to keep it simple and straightforward. It's been 3 months now and they still have not paid us any of the rentals!
The tenants are paying rent on time, we have promptly provided everything that was requested from us, but all we getting is: "the accounting department is still processing your funds".
Very bad first impressions, would not recommend and looking into getting out of the contact.

GooglePlease do not rent houses from Your Move as they always stand with landlord’s side specially in issues regarding your deposit. Currently I am having the same issue and they are rejecting to answer my calls while giving contact details to landlord to get quotations to make deductions from the deposit. In my case landlord is making frivolous accusations regarding the cleanliness of the washroom and try to deduct £175 from the deposit.

As discussed, Your Move have no say regarding deductions from your deposit. Should you disagree with your landlords proposal for deductions then please discuss this with My Deposit Scotland. The tenancy deposit scheme is in place to make a ruling once a dispute has been launched.
