GoogleAbsolutely flawless!!! Jess, Judy and Tom were all amazing. Right from day 1 when I called to make an enquiry, nothing seemed too much trouble for Judy. She explained different options to me and not only did she make me feel at ease but I felt like I was in good hands. Then when I met Jess, she took her time to understand my situation, never put me on the clock, felt like I had known her for years and she knows exactly what she is talking about so I instantly trusted her. Our house move was not straight forward due to breaks further in the chain but this team were on it! Plenty of updates and chasing things behind the scenes. Nothing really was too much trouble, even when I had to ask Tom to come back to a house viewing because I thought I left my purse behind. I cannot recommend them highly enough, I had a rubbish experience with another estate agents and was a little nervous to trust another estate agents but honestly I couldn't have asked for better. Hunters absolutely smashed my expectations!!! Massive praise and thank you. Mr and Mrs Hale

GoogleWhat can I say.. Jess , Jude and Tom were absolutely amazing. We weren’t even thinking of moving but saw our dream home for sale. We viewed and knew it was for us. So Jess valued ours and put it on the market straight away. We sold on the first day and put in an offer in to our dream home and it was accepted . In 12 weeks start to finish we were in our home. We had a few stressful moments but Jess was on the ball all the way through and nothing was too much trouble . Felt confident that everything was being sorted and it was. I can’t thank you then all so much . I would highly recommend jess and her team. Absolutely flawless. We’ve found our dream home and Jess and her team made it happen. Thank you so much we are so happy in our new home 🏡

TrustpilotHunters Belmont Circle
Called Hunters Belmont Circle to arrange a valuation of my home. They asked me the reason for wanting to sell and when I told them it was because we're divorcing the representative immediately turned frosty and said they charge for valuations if your selling due to divorce. Imagine you're presented with a very devastating and traumatic life event, and then the pariahs come a hunting to see if they too can make a profit out of someone else's misery. Shameful.

TrustpilotWhy all the complications?
Tried to book a viewing online of a property in South Shields. I received multiple text messages and emails asking me to complete a further questionnaire before they could proceed. This questionnaire then appears to have prompted another questionnaire (with multiple further texts and emails), which looked like it was going to try and book me in for a property valuation of my current home. I decided instead to call and try and book a viewing. The gentleman who answered seemed thoroughly disinterested and told me viewings could only be booked for weekdays, and only during the hours of 9am to 5pm. I explained that I work during those hours (as most people do, I would suspect) and he said, 'Ok then, bye' and terminated the call. Not sure exactly how anyone is supposed to view a property with Hunters.

TrustpilotExtremely bad experience with Unprofessional and Rude people... Preston Road Wembley branch
Preston Road Wembley BranchI regret to say that my experience with your service has been extremely disappointing. The level of unprofessionalism displayed throughout the process was astounding. From misleading information to outright lies, it became clear that your team was not transparent or trustworthy from the start.Unfortunately, after the deal was finalized, your true nature became even more evident. The promises made prior to the transaction were not upheld, and your team showed a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I would strongly caution anyone against working with your company.Thank you for making this an experience I will never forget, but for all the wrong reasons.

GoogleJess's calm, competent professionalism and Tom's cheerful, exuberant enthusiasm combine to make a superlative service that I would not hesitate to recommend to other sellers - we were sold within a week of listing for over our asking price thanks to Tom's negotiating skills.
I have also received a great deal of advice and assistance with purchasing, receiving well matched suggestions for places I might wish to move to.
I would also like to make note of the mortgage advice company that operates alongside them (as a separate entity) - Rachael has bent over backwards to offer advice and help even after business hours once or twice.
Forget the larger companies that operate in the area and go to Jess - we never once felt rushed or pressured at any point and the frequent contact from the team at Hunters helped us feel valued and cared for. We were treated as as individuals, and our needs taken into account every step of the way

GoogleAfter watching my partner sell his property through this estate agents, I can safely say I do NOT recommend! Hunters seemed great at first, and the only real credit I can give is to Robbie who we dealt with to begin with, he was very polite, answered all our questions and definitely got the best price for the house!
However, everything after the property had sold was a complete shambles. The property was sold no chain, yet the buyer was selling a property to buy this one - Something hunters apparently didn’t know. A family member of the buyer ended up buying the property on their behalf. After 6 weeks of the solicitors chasing an important document from the buyer, it yet again came to light they were selling another property to buy my partners.. something Hunters knew nothing about again (apparently). Hunters let the buyers into the house without any kind of courtesy message to my partner that this was happening, despite knowing they were avoiding both solicitors for the document they needed to proceed forwards. When my partner told them no more and collected the keys, Carlie called to state she had ‘seen a screenshot of the document’ and therefore could we let the buyers in again to carry their measurements out. When told no until confirmation from the solicitors, Carlie seemed some what taken aback stating ‘I’m on the buyers side this time’. Hunters need reminding that my partner paid them their fees, yet seemed very much like they couldn’t do enough for the buyers. Shame really! I sincerely hope things improve after this, and no other buyer has the experience my partner had!

TrustpilotThank you so much to Rob
Thank you so much to Rob, I believe, that’s his name for going the extra mile to get my wristwatch fixed. It had unfortunately come apart whilst they were trying to install a battery. I am eternally grateful as the watch was special to me. They were most apologetic and ensured that everything was done to get the thing up and working. So once again thank you for your excellent customer service.100%

TrustpilotAbsolutely the worst estate agents
Absolutely the worst estate agents , I booked a flat viewing at 4:45pm on Friday evening , I was left a voice message in the morning asking if I couldn’t attend please let them know, I was attending so not necessary, I drove for 50 mins in rush hour traffic and got to the property about 4:47 pm 2 mins late, on the travel over I phoned up the company 4 times leaving messages saying I will be slightly late no answer, when I go to the property the agent wasn’t there , no phone call to my mobile at any point, I knocked on the door and the owners were there very surprised to see me 🤔🤔 I said hi I have a viewing which they replied oh we didn’t know and there has been no agent there today waiting for me, it was very awkward looking around and then I left, the whole situation was a joke how DARE YOU treat potential renters/buyers that way not even turning up and even letting the owners know, waste of my travel time and petrol money , email the agents and they replied back there was someone there but because u was 2 min late they left as there to busy to wait, CROCK of S**t no one was there confirmed bye the owners, I really hope your company goes bust and u all lose your jobs , I should of look at the reviews on here before contacting your agency as there shocking and the worst Iv ever see. For a company Shameful Sharon mcevoy rude lady stay clear

TrustpilotHunters
Hunters- Wallasey branchHunters- Wallasey branch. Horrendous. Absolutely no compassion or care during Covid-19. Even though the landlord is probably taken advantage of his mortgage holidays. Had no working fire alarms since February!!! Don’t reply to emails or answer the phone. DO NOT RENT OFF THESE. House was filthy when we moved in took me 4 days to clean before stuff could be moved in- told them this and they just said rented as seen.

TrustpilotAvoid at all costs. The worst of the worst!
Couldn't have come across worse agents. Took two months to get the house on the market because of continuous delays with contracts, photos and communications. Extremely unresponsive overall, would sometimes have to call for weeks to get an answer or an update. The agents come to house viewings without knowing anything about the house and they lie more than any service provider I've ever dealt with. The absolute bottom of the barrel of estate agents. Avoid at all costs!

TrustpilotIf I could give zero stars or negative
If I could give zero stars or even negative stars, I would. From renting the property, collecting the keys, discussing the lease renewal, to the recent issue with rent payments, it has been a complete disaster. When I first viewed the property, I told the agent at Hunter that my current lease was ending soon and I needed to speed up the process of getting the keys. The agent assured me it would be fine and agreed to hand over the keys on Monday. However, I spent the entire Monday chasing them from morning to evening, even going to their office, but still didn’t get the keys. When I arrived at their office, they told me some documents weren’t signed. I couldn’t believe they only realized this after I had to show up in person. The next day, I contacted them again in the morning, and once again, they weren’t ready. It wasn't until late Tuesday, right before their office closed, that I finally got the keys.A year later, when it was time to renew, Hunter told me the landlord agreed not to raise the rent, and I immediately accepted. They sent over the renewal documents, but before I could sign and return them, they called the next day saying the landlord had changed their mind and wanted to increase the rent by £200. I was shocked. How could they go back on their word? Hunter even insisted that the landlord had the right to do so because there were still two weeks before the lease renewal, otherwise, the landlord could end the tenancy. This felt like bullying, but I had no choice but to agree.Yesterday, I received the payment invoice for the renewal, but the amount listed was still the old rent. Since they issued the invoice, I paid the amount stated. Today, they realized their mistake and sent me an email asking for the remaining balance, even rushing me to pay immediately. I was at work at the time, so I couldn’t make the payment right away. Later, Hunter's agency called me, and instead of being polite, they demanded I pay as soon as possible. I told them I was working and couldn’t pay immediately, and that it was their mistake, not mine. They insisted I pay after work, but I had other commitments. I can’t believe they made the mistake but still had such a rude attitude.I will never use this company again, and I hope they go out of business to avoid further damaging the reputation of service companies in the UK.

TrustpilotPoor customer service
My partner and I are looking to relocate to an area around a 5 hour drive away, we found a property with Hunters and booked a viewing. We loved the property so we asked the agent what to do next and he said email so we can get sent an application form; because we liked the property so much we emailed and called the branch to try and get ahead with our application. No answer from the branch after numerous calls over the period of an hour so we decided to go to the branch instead. After speaking to someone in branch (not part of the lettings team so they couldn't help us) they sent an email over to someone from the lettings department with our profile so they could send us an application form via email. This seems great, two emails, one from us and one internally expressing our interest in the property. However fast forward one week, with nothing from them and more attempts to contact from us, we finally get through to be told that someone that viewed on the same day as us has already completed all the applications and is set to start renting the property. No apologies or anything after explaining the situation and that we'd been trying to get in contact for a week.

GoogleFab photos, definitely the best of the estate agents in the area. We felt Robbie actually liked the home we were selling, and therefore more like to be able to ‘sell it’ to prospective buyers.
Friendly and helpful staff, who put up with my many phone calls! They were keen to work within the timescale of our chain, chasing other solicitors further down the chain when necessary.
Hunter’s client based was a definite advantage in our case, photos taken on a Thursday, first viewing on the Saturday and sold on the Monday… making us the last link in the chain.
Eight weeks from photos being taken to completion!

TrustpilotThey couldn’t care less
Would even put this into minus stars if I could. The most awful company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Very good in getting you in at first however soon as they have their commission from you they don’t care about you. To start we had to push back as we had agreed a move in date paid for moving van. Kye who was our wonderful (not) estate agent thought it was acceptable to give us a call at 16:00 the day before to say we can’t move in this date. Extractor fan was broke in the property was promised this will be fixed at the start of our tenancy. They decided to send someone to fix this in our last 2 weeks of our agreement. The state of the flat when we moved in was beyond a joke grime on the kitchen top bathroom smelt disgusting was dirty. Carpets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since the flat had been built. Marks all over the walls and blinds. We’re not trying to be overcharged for a cleaning service when the flat was left in 10 times better condition it was left in. Horrible company who don’t care about you after they have their commission. Also abysmal customer service constantly have to chase them for things

TrustpilotDo not use this estate agent
Would not recommend renting through Hunters - no communication, follow up or empathy from anyone here. Day one moved in- Leak all over the living area from a disconnected pipe that hadn’t been checked. Raised floorboards and bloomed worktop- No broadband access- No bins- Vent not fitted correctly in the bathroom(All reported no follow up from Hunters)1 month later - Still no broadband, bins arrive. Had to purchase expensive WiFi dongle in 12 month contract and unable to use electric car charger. - Phone line attachment broken and reported via Opeanreach -Had to chase Hunters for any action to be taken for the wifi for the whole apartment block2 months later- (Some) flats connected to broadband still some flats without wifi - low speed if usable- Our apartment was flooded with sewage water into the bathroom. - £150 to replace damaged bathroom goods - Pipes overflowing and all toilet/shower/sinks/washing machine and dishwasher unusable for 3 days- 3 days OFF work to facilitate fixing issues- Front door lock unstable logged 23rd July no follow up- Vent still hanging down in bathroom3 months in- Storage room ripped up from last month and no follow up from blocked pipes. Waiting to be flooded out- Stinks of sewage- No communication in over 3 weeks Do not care about welfare/lack of customer service. Shocking. I never write negative reviews and genuinely give people a bit of slack but this has been the worst I have experienced.

TrustpilotINCOMPETENT
Hunters listed a rental property two days ago and I had contacted them making an enquiry an hour after it was posted. No response. so I went online and found a book a viewing form and completed it. No response. The next day I emailed asking further about the property. No response. Today no call or no email, no response. So I call up and I am informed that they are fully booked for viewings and they probably wont do another one. Absolutely no communication. Zero customer service. An entirely incompetent estate agents. I had to drag the information out of them and at no stage was I contacted. The entirety of their reviews for 2024 details their utter incapability.

TrustpilotHunters Estate Agent review
Amazing service from start to finish .A special mention to Della who went above and beyond what was expected, Della's communication was fantastic even on her days off she would chase information and update us. Della was instrumental in the completion date and kept the chain together. We'd of been lost without her. Thanks Della. Highly recommend.
