We approached The Auction House to act for us on the sale of our complicated property / barn complex. I could not fault their services. They worked alongside us and our solicitor and we got a fantastic results all done and dusted in 6 weeks. Bryan Baxter is exceptionally personable as is his team. We put our complete trust in them all and it was well worth it.

This company ran an auction with several technical faults took deposit and then persisted to say was not there problem we couldn't bid, your system failed and not the first time, a house sold for 75000 while bidders willing to pay 100000 disgusting behaviours from staff
Many thanks for your review although we were extremely perturbed to read the contents. We can confirm that technical issues were experienced on the 22nd August but regretfully only discovered following completion of the auction. The technical issues were absolutely not the fault of the Auction House Scottish team since they had no control over the situation and this fault effected only a very small number of prospective bidders who had registered to bid. Auction House has since identified the issue, taken action and as a result have suspended use of the bidding platform used and have reverted to the bidding platform operated by the EI Group who have successfully been providing technical services to auctioneers across the country for several years. Again, we sincerely apologise for the frustration this must have caused but hope you will be comforted to some degree in that remedial action has been instigated very quickly following this unfortunate situation.

They are complete frauds.They add hidden charges of 10s of thousands of pounds and put bids themselves.I have had a terrible experience with them and I would not recommend it to anyone.They put 2.95% additional costs plus VAT as well as many other additional hidden fees.

Specifically want to mention Tessa who was a great help when I went through a personally issue with my bank and needed to speak and discuss with Auction House direct, so thank you again for helping through the situation. As mentioned, first time using them and their online internet bidding tool was great to use - dont be worried about using this functionality!
