Good, personable service

Chase Buchanan Downend were the estate agents for our purchase, which was far from simple and due to issues at the bottom of the chain, took 9 months to complete. Although we weren't their client, we found them always welcoming and helpful when we did deal with them. Should we sell in the area, we'd be sure to use them.

We've been happy to deal with Intire. The communication during the whole application process was quick, friendly and professional. The agents we've met were very nice, well informed and willing to help. Frankie has been very clear about every details of the house during the viewing and the appointment to get the keys. We liked that our full details were required from the beginning (and not only the holding deposit like in most agencies) it made us feel like Intire cared to make sure that we were in capacity to get the house before starting the process.

I would give no stars if I could. Our experience with Chase Buchanan has been overall very poor and have advised against any friends to rent through them. Communication was poor throughout, we have spent countless hours on hold to Chase Buchanan, not just hold that eventually gets answered, hold where it hangs up as it has been so long. The agency couldn't find anyone to fix the heating/hot water, because it was too old (cca 40 years), so we had to have the heating on when we wanted hot water. After moving out of this property it took two months to get back the deposit (they deducted more than £100 because the grass was overgrown, however the initial inventory stated the same when we moved in) and we are still waiting to get back the overpaid rent. This letting agency is extremely unprofessional, and I would recommend people to avoid it at any cost.

I've been renting out just the one property for the past 17 years and until 5 years ago have used a number of different letting agents who were all fairly shoddy. That is until I used Intire whose service far exceeds those of other letting agents I've used in the Bristol area. I've used Intire twice now and on both occasions, all their staff have been hugely helpful and they managed to find me excellent tenants in a very short time. They also provide other services over and above those offered by other letting agents included in the price, such as offering a Gas Certificate service, an inventory and changing over all the bills. As I don't live close to the property all these 'add-ons' have made the whole process so much easier. I would highly recommend them.

I mostly dealt with Ella and I must say up till I got in touch with Intire, my letting agent experience in Bristol had been pretty bad. Ella and Intire really made me feel that they were ALSO looking after the tenant, not just the landlords. She and the rest of the team answered my every question, helped and accomodated where they could. I would highly recommend them to both landlords and tenants alike. They are trustworthy, keep their promises and give honest advice, a rare thing in the renting market nowadays. Intire should feel very happy to have Ella asn the rest of the team.

Atif, Kirsty and the team have let two of my properties to multiple tenants over the past 4 years, they are by far the most professional letting agency I have come accross. Poor service management. I've been living in their managed apartment for more than a year. Since the water boiler controller not working, it is running 24/7 hence I've been paying more than 500£ electricity bill for long time, ands worst for last 4 months im paying 744£ electricity bill for a small two bedroom apartment despite many request water heater controller issue never been addressed.
