Absolutely incredible!!!

Absolutely incredible!!!After finding a house in September I called and first spoke to Yasmin. I have never spoken to someone so positive and enthusiastic. She booked an appointment and was there for the viewing. After viewing the house I explained that I have a house to sell in order to purchase. Yasmin said what became a regular word for her “no problem“. Yasmin came to the house with her colleague Luke. Both Yasmin and Luke were amazing in the advice they gave. Due to their dedication and professionalism the house was sold in 12 days and a price agreed on a purchase.Yasmin and Luke did everything to secure the house sale and purchase. Sadly complications arose but Yasmin and Luke did everything to reassure and help. I have bought and sold properties before but never has the support been so incredible.At any stage the guys were there to answer calls, emails, WhatsApp even in the evening.Thanks to Yasmin and Luke everything has worked out so well and we moved in before Xmas. I could write another 10 paragraphs to explain how amazing they are.Simply the best - cannot recommend enough 5 *

Seymours left us stranded when we had signed and paid for our rental property and everything set up, only to find out the owner had agreed to sell through ankther Seymours office post our agreement. An apology doesnt secure us a property. Very unprofessional to say the least. Our property was still be advertised after we had signed and paid. Not acceptable to say the least

Seymours was absolutely right choice for selling our house, every member of the team has been so helpful and friendly. David has always kept us up to date with what’s happening, called back, got the answers for all of our questions and when our buyer pulled out had already contacted others who had previously offered and got us another offer within 48 hours. Seymours have also been great with helping us with our purchase and the numerous visits to the property. We needed to move in a tight timeframe and Seymours provided us with reassurance and the confidence that this could happen in the current Brexit climate and they did not fail. We moved exactly when we needed to! David and his team where prompt with getting photos taken and publication onto Rightmove, and immediate viewings. Throughout the rest of the selling process emails where answered rapidly as where all phone calls/messages and enquires, they also provided options for solicitors that they had used and trusted which made the process easier. Avoid for your own safety

Like many of the other rental customers who have left reviews I urge you never to rent through this company. We repeatedly reported maintenance issues that they took no action on, including black mold. This had a major effect on our health. Their own workmen recommended works that would have resolved that problem, and were ignored. When we moved out, they tried to charge us for issues that were noted on our move IN inventory, issues that we had reported and they had not fixed, and imaginary things like furnishings in an unfurnished flat. I have rented two flats from them in the past and at both, when it came to viewings for new prospective tennants, they let themselves in without permission- at the first property they let themselves in while I was in the shower after turning up 45min late (thus we assumed the visit was cancelled), at the second despite reminding them of this incident and stating that I was super anxious about it happening again, they did it again. We ended up barricading our front door to feel safe enough to wash or sleep. They are dishonest and disrespectful, they fail entirely to communicate with each other, and they try to take money they are not entitled to. Avoid like the plague, especially landlords who may end up liable to their tenants for the harm Seymours cause with their negligence, as they are openly planning to rent the mold-infested flat we have just left out again untreated and not-redecorated. It can only be a matter of time before someone dies from their negligence, don't let it be you.

SEYMOURS BIGGEST BUT NOT BEST

Poor service and unparalleled arrogance from the biggest but certainly NOT the best agency. My experience with Seymours has been frustratingly and shockingly dreadful. As managing agents, they are so slow to action property complaints and then behave as though they are doing you a favour. The letting agents have no regard for your time and cancel AFTER the last minute, if they bother at all, or just don’t care enough to show up on time to show a property and then they don’t even have the decorum to offer an apology because of course, you aren’t worthy of their time. Seymour’s are, without a doubt, bullies in the industry who trample over smaller agencies and scrabble to get a few hundred pounds in fees that they did not earn or deserve. Appalling and I hope that I never have the misfortune to deal with Seymours again in any capacity.

As we begin our journey with Seymour’s having moved abroad, we were extremely impressed with the way our property has been let out from start to finish! Jamie and his team under Jane were very professional and friendly in their initial approach and their sales pitch was very honest and genuine whilst still ensuring our needs as clients would be taken care of. They helped coordinate and find a tenant very quickly due to their popular and trusted referral network.
