The team at Jacksons are excellent. They were knowledgeable about the property market in the region, and provided helpful advice on the local market and pricing our property appropriately, they were able to successfully market our property through their network and attract a high number of viewers which led to 6 formal offers. During that time the property market changed significantly, and the advice provide by Tom during negotiation was instrumental in reaching a successful sale. They were responsive and relationship oriented all the way through to completion, ultimately resulting in a positive outcome.

We all know that buying a property is complicated and at times nerve-wracking, well, it turns out that buying a Grade II listed property is even more complicated, but we were expertly (and kindly) guided through this process last yer by Laura and her colleagues. Jackson-Stops are by far the best, most pro-active estate agent in Dorking. Nicki stayed in regular contact with me for over a year whilst I searched for my forever home. No matter how many times I said no, she kept coming back to me with properties to view and eventually it paid off. Selling our house through Jackson Stops in Dorking worked really well from start to finish. What really impressed us was how the whole team personally came to visit the house and were so knowledgable and helpful. We had a chain of five and as is often the case, bringing the whole chain together at the right time was a particular challenge. Darrel and Lucy were up to it though, and with the rest of the team at the agency, nothing was too much trouble and the journey from the initial marketing through to exchange was very smooth. Throughout the process of our sale, Jackson Stops wonderful Shaftesbury Team were at all times, responsive, constructive and extremely helpful wherever we had moments of doubt. In particular, at crucial moments in the sale they were able to 'helicopter' above the emotionality that inevitably accompanies a house sale or purchase and provide laser like advice which was so much appreciated.Another strong quality was the overlapping of the whole team with each knowing the others updates so that whoever answered the call or email, they were able to instantly respond.All the staff were unfailingly cheerful and courteous at all times and there was never a time when a call or email wasn't responded to.All in all, one of our best experiences todate and we would have no hesitation in recommending a would be buyer or seller to the JS Shaftesbury team led by James.

Review for Jackson StopsWell, not sure where to start but at first interaction I thought professional, credible and personable until we realised the game they were playing behind the scenes. We went through some negotiation with the seller, fine, get that this is part of the process. Our significantly above asking price offer was finally accepted, with a condition it was taken off the market. After three weeks, we asked if we could show ours kids around and so we did. Despite knowing we would do this, they had been negotiating with other offers and told us on Monday (3 weeks after our offer was accepted) that they had a formal offer through from another seller. Whilst I appreciate they have a legal right to do this, I think they have a moral obligation to let us know especially as we’re showing our kids around that weekend. They then asked us to go into a bidding war for a house we had already had an offer accepted for. They had said that the person had given a written offer which is bizarre considering they never asked us for anything in writing and my agent had advised to write in so they responded to our offer in the first place as communication with this agent was nonexistent! This shows how this company works - underhand and unprofessional

Tracy and Anthony have been just great - very patient and understanding over the months we've been looking for just the right house. I never got the feeling that they were only after a sale, because I also found they were honest and informative, so that we were able to make the right decision based on facts as well as feelings.
