FacebookAfter renting through Dorset Property, Weymouth branch, for the last five and a half years I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone in the Weymouth branch for their friendly and professional service. All my, not too many, complaints and faults were dealt with extremely fast, they were never intrusive in their management and the final ‘check out’ was stress free! Also, I would like to say that my deposit was refunded within one working day. Many thanks and highly recommended!

GoogleI have used Dorset Property, Wimborne for 13 years to manage my rented house. All the staff have been friendly, professional and efficient. They have guided me through many tenants and the selling process. All issues within the house have been dealt with quickly and diligently, sourcing contractors and experts who have been good value for money. The clear statements have ensured the tax process has been simple. I live abroad and they have made the whole landlord experience simple. I would recommend them to any first time landlord.

FacebookTakes ages to do anything. Tried to take around 95% of deposit when TDS went in my favour and awarded me around 90%. Did not communicate well as could of reasoned with me whilst the claim was going through. Did not look at evidence from check in inventory and check out inventory as many similarities. Used poor quality inventory reports from unregulated company. Would steer clear from this company.

We are sorry you did not have a favourable experience when moving out from one of our managed rental properties. However, as Dorset Property is ARLA registered, we follow a strict code of practise in handling deposits and if there is any dispute at the end of a tenancy we have to work through each stage of the process meticulously to ensure the dispute is settled fairly for both tenant and landlord. When there is a dispute, we always attempt to mediate between the landlord and the tenant but ultimately, if an agreement is not possible, the dispute has to go to arbitration. At this stage the dispute is beyond our control. In addition, it is our policy to always use professional third-party inventory companies, who provide first-class comprehensive inventories and schedules of condition. We are confident that the inventories for this property were of this standard. As you can appreciate processes as outlined above can take some time and we can only apologise for any unpleasant experience you may have had.

Don’t invite this agent to sell your house as they clearly have no idea what it is worth!! They recently sent me an unsolicited letter about someone who apparently had identified my property as of interest to them. However, their maximum budget was at least a quarter of a million pounds below my properties current market value! Not only was this an insulting and rude approach, it clearly demonstrates what an ignorant and ill informed Estate Agents they are! You have now flagged my review as you don’t like what you read! Well neither did I appreciate your unsolicited letter sent to me yesterday that contained erroneous information. You don’t need any more info as you will have a copy on file that you sent to me yesterday!!

GoogleMyself and my partner have been together for six years now and at the start of this year, we decided it was time to start our next chapter and look for a property to rent with one another. Our first property we viewed right at the start was with Dorset Property. From then on, we continued to view other ones with them and if theres one thing I will continue to share about this company, its how outstanding their customer service is. Throughout our viewing experience we began to start realising what our requirements and comprises were, all of which we tailored to and considered by Francine, Donna and Alex. We received a call one day where they expressed that they saw this property come on the market and thought of us by exclaiming “this could be one for the girls!”. It truly made us feel that we werent just numbers on their client list... but people who NEEDED thoughtful estate agents to notify us if anything suitable were to come on the market. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Excellent customer service and really helped us in our journey. Thank you all! x

FacebookHaving lived abroad for 5 years, we relocated back home to weymouth and Dorset Property was our first port of call for a rented property. Helped by the super friendly staff we located a property a stones throw from the beach. This was perfect rental for a year to allow us to move on and find our respective properties to purchase. Faultless rental property, well managed and nothing was too much trouble from the office. Assistant manager was a great help with tenancy agreements and all associated paperwork which helped in a seamless transition to our place. Would go nowhere else is sourcing another property or indeed renting my own property out. Thanks team �

FacebookWe went to Dorset Property Weymouth when we were moving out of our parents homes and looking for our first rented property together. They gave us a guided tour round a home we liked, it was in brilliant condition, they explained all the aspects of the property and showed where all the electrical points/white goods/radiators etc were, they even gave me a rough price of all the bills the current tenancy may pay to help us budget our costs (massive help when this was out first home). An agreed date to move in was organised and when we went to collect the keys, everything was smooth and easy. Communication was brilliant, whether it was via email or phone, they was always someone to speak to, we had no issues with the property at all and when we ended our tenancy to buy our first home, they even helped organise cleaners so we didn’t need to. I would definitely use Dorset Property Weymouth again as they just made sure everything ran smoothly and someone was always there to help. Brilliant Letting Agent!! �
