Firstly I want to say a massive thank you to the team on Hallgate Doncaster. In particular Anna and Reece. To say I've not been the most calm if customers is an understatement. The whole process has been stressful, however that stress HAS NOT been caused by William H Brown, it has been caused by being an executor of a will and a probate sale. Needless to say, Anna has helped me through it all. And quite frankly kept me sane. I had originally gone to the competition, and having only 2 viewings in 3 months, a neighbour recommended William H Brown. What a difference, in the few weeks we had over 6 viewings. And quite quickly we had a sale. Now William H Brown are not the cheapest, but you know the saying "you pay your money to take the choice". They are worth that extra, WHY because they deliver on the their promise to sell your home, and keep you updated every step of the way. Thank you team Doncaster. You are brilliant.

I have been trying to sell my property with William H Brown for A while now and it appears to have been a total fail. I don't have long left on my contract but thought I would highlight the pros and cons. To me the initial visit by Oliver went well - good understanding of area - sold William H Brown really well. Set up went well with Holly etc - Photos done efficiently. However , after the initial visit contract signing and set up the communication was so limited. (I almost forgot my property was on the market) I would like to have felt involved in the process - regular updates - discus-sens on who they were targeting and what they were trying to do to sell the property. 1 call a month if you are lucky does not really work for me. Also if there had been more communication it would have really helped with this score. There is also a strong possibility I would have re-signed because in my mind I would think these guys have really tried so give them another go . Anyway I could not see this happening and maybe it is company policy to only call once a month who knows. As an extra note this has not only put me off William H Brown for selling the property but also entrusting them to rent it. Anyway the contract period ends soon and have already given notice that I do not wish to renew - all the best to everyone there it just did not work for me.

Initially looked after by Oliver, who clearly knew about Doncaster and the surrounding area, which instantly put us at ease and made us want to sell through them. After a very poor experience using their mortgage advisor last time, Adam Brown has restored our faith in their mortgage services team. Our mortgage application wasn’t the easiest as my partner had been made redundant a few days after getting the DIP - but Adam went the extra mile and spoke with the lender and found a resolution. Last time, it was a very stressful six months waiting for my mortgage offer with me doing ALL the chasing and having to resort to ringing the lender directly… this time, we got our mortgage offer in three days! PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!
