Direct reviewsI have dealt with Northwood for over a year in selling a number of properties and they have been a pleasure to work. No task has been too much trouble, even when some complex matters had to be dealt with. I dealt with approximately half a dozen of the team and their service was exceptional - prompt, professional and courteous. I couldn't recommend them more.

GoogleCharging £100 for a valuation when you’re considering selling your property is absolutely ridiculous! Very poor customer service! Especially as you advertise a free valuation on your website! False advertising! Would not recommend
Hello, I think there has been a miscommunication here to which I apologise. We only charge for a written valuation in certain circumstances where this is required for insurance/probate/solicitors purposes. To which the fee would be deductible from the sales fee if you decided to sell your property with us. GoogleStaff are very professional and lovely! I haven't been renting with Northwood long but I've had brilliant experience with them and can't see that changing. Joe who takes care of my tenancy/flat is very well mannered and lovely to chat to, will always go the extra mile to make sure issues are resolved and that the tenant is happy with the solution. Overall he makes the life of being a tenant a lot easier & I couldn't recommend them enough! Thank you so much!

GooglePeople can judge themselves- I phoned 6 weeks ago to book a viewing, I was told someone will ring me back. NO one did. 2 weeks later I contacted again. this time someone did ring back to tell me when can I go to view the property. Gave my availability and then nothing. 2 weeks again contacted them and this time got a viewing booked after 10 days . TODAY went to the address in Wheatley and the property is SOLD (and no decency to ring to cancel the appointment). Really appalling SERVICE. Looks like either no one bothered

GoogleDO NOT USE NORTHWOOD (doncaster) my ex partner and my two young children have been "checked out" of her property this week after 5 years of renting. she has now come to find that the agent "northwood" is trying to charge an absolute fortune for repairs and cleaning. ridiculous items such as dust!!, stains, and muck behind a space where the washer has been for the past half a decade!!! the two big ones are that they are trying to make her pay for a leaking boiler.. yes!!! a leaking boiler in a rented house!! that she has reported many times. she was asked if she could look into getting a new boiler for the house that yes you guessed it SHE RENTS!!!!! the other issue is that they are trying to charge fees for mold to the property. this is down to the house being so old and run down coupled with the fact that the landlord has not done anything to it in the 5 years she has been in the house. others include rubbish and items in various cupboards and drawers all of what was left by the landlord the 5 years ago when she moved in!! i.e paint tins, carpet,tiles,wall paper table,tile cutter,lawn mower the list goes on. when you try to speak to anybody at the doncaster office they are always "out of the place of work" or will call you back. this never happens!! once a phone call is made (to them) and you can speak to a person i.e jackie or kamila they are very VERY rude to you. put you on hold without asking and raising voices even trying to argue with you! then putting the phone down on you when you are trying to resolve problems. anybody that is looking to do business with northwood @doncaster i beg you to stay well clear. it will all seem like a fairy tale until you move out of the property then they try and bend all the rules and make up false claims of damage and such. DO NOT USE NORTHWOOD DONCASTER ......
Dear Mr Mellor I am sorry to hear that you have felt the need to complain. As you are not our tenant, we are unable to discuss the tenancy with you, or comment on any specifics regarding this tenancy. In general, any of our tenants would not be expected to be responsible for general wear and tear on a property that may have occurred during a tenancy. The only factors we take in to account on check out is the cleanliness on hand back. All security deposits are logged with the DPS who can independently adjudicate on any disputes relating to deductions from bonds, and therefore if any of our tenants are unhappy with any bond deductions they have the right to appeal through the DPS.
