We dealt with Magda while organising a new tenancy. We were kept fully informed at every stage and we were very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the whole process; from carrying out credit checks and referencing, to the tenancy agreement. The whole team are so helpful and knowledgeable it is an absolute pleasure to deal with them.

GoogleI’ve used TOLA for a number of years now and they are, simply put, fantastic!; I wouldn’t consider using anyone else. Not only are they great value, their service ethic is a lesson to all companies in this sector particularly; everyone on the team is friendly, efficient and responsive. Special call-out for Eleanor who's sector knowledge and understanding was of great help, particularly as our letting circumstances are a little niche; thank you Eleanor! E-signing is also very efficient and useful. In a nutshell, can’t fault them! Don't go anywhere else if you want to let your property. Thanks again to all at TOLA.

Incredible service! As a first time landlord I was incredibly nervous about getting a good tenant and ensuring I fulfilled all my legal obligations. The website was my first touch pint and was really informative. After building a package to suit my needs I checked out and was immediately sent the next steps. With a day my add was online and after 24 hours I had to ask for it to be taken down as I had more than enough viewings booked. I really liked being able to meet all the prospective tenants and once all the viewing were done Helen and Sarah helped me pick one and run the references. They moved in this week, 2 weeks after first finding TOLA. Huge thanks to Sarah and Helena for always being available on the phone and email. I cannot fault their communication. Highly recommend at a fraction of the price of a high street agent!

GoogleI have used TOLA for many years and their communication, knowledge and efficiency is seamless every time. After finding a tenant myself they take over and complete the process with as many services you choose from their package menu. Always a pleasure to deal with the staff.

GoogleHave been using The Online Lettings Agents for maybe 10 years and I dont go anywhere else. They always answer every enquiry in a timely manner and never had any problems with their service and importantly its priced very reasonably to reflect great value for money.

This company operates in an extremely unprofessional manner and is a complete waste of time. They advertise properties on their website that they do not own and fail to provide adequate customer service, instead leaving customers at the mercy of unreliable, arrogant landlords.
Hi Syed, Thank you for your review. I can assure you that our reviews are not fake, nor are we unprofessional and arrogrant! I can see you called in and spoke to one of our most senior employees and they immediately forwarded your enquiry to the landlord. I suspect you are confusing us with the landlord as they would have spoken/emailed with you after that. We sent you a confirmation email about a minute after your enquiry explaining how it all works and that the landlord would be talking to you directly from that point onwards. I've also checked though our email and phone records and we've never spoken to you after the initial enquiry. We do however, expect our landlords to be courteous and professional, we will reach out to them. Kind regards, Simon. *UPDATE AFTER TENANT UPDATE* Most agents do not own the properties they advertise, the landlords do! We dealt with your initial enquiry in a professional, courteous and efficient manner. You were then put in touch with the landlord who you then proceeded to confuse with us. We never spoke to you again after the initial enquiry, nor did you bother contacting us so we could try and help, you just went ahead and provided us with a 1* review full of false accusations and inaccuracies which I think quite frankly, gives us all the information we need to know.

It had been generally good, but that feeling has been changed. They seem to have enough knowledge regarding this business, but they do work only by online. I have felt their treatments unsatisfactory whenever I had problems in maintenance basically because they never visited the property. (From my understanding, they are in charge of this on behalf of the landlord.) I felt it seems to leave their work to me (a tenant).Finally two and half months ago, I cancelled a plumber calling due to miscommunication with the agency. And they charged the fee to me. I would like to talk if it is legitimate with them, but they haven't reacted my email properly for two months. I don't know if they are investigating now, but it does not look so.Update 8 Feb 2023: It is good to know TOLA had considered my email. But I could have thought they don't want to talk with me because they did not tell me how they had treated my case before this review. I don't know if I rushed but it was not the best timing, shame. Because TOLA left their opinion regarding that particular event (although my review was not about this, so I think they should have emailed me personally regarding this), I also would like to write my thought about this. But it could be long and I don't think it is useful to other users, so I won't review every detail what happened.Nevertheless for those who are interested in, if TOLA and the person in TOLA whom I had emailed with agree, I would like to open our previous conversation regarding that visiting of the plumber. I am not claiming it is not my fault, but I think it is arguable and unfair to be judged by TOLA.
Hi Jeongseok,Thank you for taking time to leave a review.Being online makes no difference to how maintenance is handled, it is the tenants responsibility to report faults as they occur. We then use rated local professionals to identify and repair faults, there's no need for us to visit the property for maintenance issues, that would just delay the process. The only thing we ask our tenants to do is provide a suitable date & time for the contractor to visit, we've been using this method for many years and have very few issues as the majority of tenants prefer to be present anyway.The reason you were charged the plumber's cancellation fee is that you refused access to a plumber who was standing at your door, when you had already agreed to the date and time. As you know, there was an active leak from your flat to the flat below. We appreciate that you believed they were also doing other work but that was never agreed - the priority was to isolate and fix the leak.Apologies that you haven't received a response to your email sent to us back in December, it is being reviewed and will be responded to in due course. As part of that response we will also be reviewing the communications log to see if there are any improvements that could be made.Kind regards,Simon.

Absolutely fantastic - as a Landlord, the service provided by the Online Letting Agents is superb. I used the tenant find service which was excellent, I was on the phone most days dealing with significant interest in the property and this wasn’t a problem. Eleanor, in particular, was very knowledgeable and managed the process entirely.If you are using a high street estate agency, you are simply throwing money down the drain for no reason. The service is far better from TOLA and for a third of the price. We were quoted £650 for the tenant find, whereas I paid Approx £240 with TOLA.There is no need, in this day and age, to be using a high street estate agency. You will not receive a better service and more often than not, prospective tenants are not interested in travelling to high street offices.If you are willing to throw money away, then continue with high street firms. I will certainly be back to TOLA with the next properties!

GoogleThe Online Letting Agents continue to provide 5 Star service at great rates. I started using them to let out a flat in 2014 and although they must have grown in that time they still make you feel that you are their most important client - they answer queries almost immediately and they make the process of advertising, collating prospective tenants, issuing and signing or contracts and collecting deposits so very easy. I feel absolutely confident in their processes and procedures. They provide current, legal information that makes a novice landlord feel in control of the process.

The whole process was very straight forward. I received a far, far better service than when I used a High St letting agent - who also charged me thousands more! Eleanor, Magda and Sarah were very knowledgeable, professional, supportive and friendly. I also used the Inventory Service and Gas Safety Check Service - both went smoothly. If you're having doubts about using TOLA because you don't want to show tenants around your property yourself, then ask family or a friend/colleague to do that for you and treat them to a meal out, voucher or something! You'll still save yourself A LOT of money. I recommend TOLA all the time and cannot believe the number of landlords who haven't heard of them!

Really really pleased with the team at The Online Letting Agents. I had previously always used Housesimple but had been finding their service less responsive and ineffective and they had increased the price for the pleasure! I therefore took a leap of faith and tried another agent and i am so glad I did. They are a lot more competitive price wise - although, the fact they are a cheaper was not my driver for choosing them, but it was an added bonus.They were super quick when it came to getting all of the paperwork in order for my tenant to move in (thank you Emma). I showed the potential tenant my property on Sunday afternoon and on the Tuesday evening they had moved in (less than 3 days) and the team had managed to obtain references, make the contract alterations I requested, sort and file the deposit (into the scheme) and issue the contracts - all in short window!! Also when Emma wasn't in the office, someone would also pick up her emails, so I was never left without a reply (thanks Eleanor).I will most definitely use again and would highly recommend. I just hope they don't become a victim of their own success and become less customer focused etc...

I am a new landlord, with no experience so I was a little concerned about using an online Company and the service that I would receive especially as their fees are only a fraction of what the High Street Agents are charging. Having now rented my house out can I just say ----Do Not Hesitate. This Company is amazing they guided me at each and every step. I dealt with Wesley who hand held me dealing with my concerns and giving me the benefit of his experience. He was always available. My house was on line within hours and I was inundated with prospective tenants. Showing the house myself meant I had the opportunity to get to know the tenants and ask questions. Everything was dealt with professionally and I was kept fully informed by telephone, text and email. Their service is outstanding!! My tenants move in today within a month of my property going live. I would definitely use again

I have been with TOLA for 3 years now and can honestly say that Eleanor and her team have gone above and beyond with their help, advice, guidance at every step. I had quite a few tricky situations to overcome and they were always helpful, patient and full of good advice. An amazing service that’s great value for money! the amount of additional time they spare for communication, help and advice is immeasurable! You pay just a small fee for advertising for instance, but on top of that being led through the whole process with lots of additional help and latest information and any of your questions are always being answered promptly. GoogleIt has been a total relief shifting management to these guys. They are responsive, quick, easy to deal with, personable - I can't fault them. ....And that's coming from a woman who was at her wits' end with other "management" companies. Trust me, it was bad. I'm so grateful these guys are here. I was a bit sceptical at first with it being "online" but it doesn't matter a jot. In fact this is way better. Thank you OLA for turning things around for me.

I was a little apprehensive at first as I had never used an online letting agent before but I could see that it could potentially save me a lot of money. In the end I went for the Gold Package, well, I haven't been disappointed. I had a huge amount of viewings, lots of interest on my property in Salisbury and signed up a new tenant within a week. Doing the viewings yourself means you can vet potential applicants which is a lot better and I have two new tenants who I am very pleased with. The staff at the Online Letting Agent were absolutely superb. Very quick and efficient and offered a level of service that would rival the best high street agent. Can't recommend them highly enough, will definitely use them again.

GoogleJust simply the best. Used TOLA dozens of times for years now and have passed on to other landlords I know who say the same as me. As soon as the tenant contacts them they contact me. I have taken my last 8 ads down after 24 hours due to the volume and quality of applicants. With bad companies I often wish there was a zero star option. With TOLA I wish there was a 6th star button. I really can't rate TOLA highly enough.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Another great tenant finding experience with The Online Letting Agents. Very responsive, full of advice and very helpful. I was very undecided this time and ended up selling my property after making changes to the letting particulars several times. The agents were very professional the entire time and I thank them for that. I will be back once my next project is ready to let and would highly recommend anyone else to consider this agency too.
