F&C are a little more expensive than competitors however the extra cost is well worth it. They are the only estate agent I have ever used that are proactive and always contactable. Quite often after agreeing the contract estate agents are less than helpful but F&C were available daily to ensure the sale moved along effectively. The process from valuation to sale was efficient and clearly defined. The brochure was also much better quality than standard estate agents. I would highly recommend them if you want a good service and excellent communication.

We had a first class experience with Fine & Country. From the first visit of Christopher, to the viewings, mostly led by Tom, and the very tortuous process of progress chasing by Julie, everything was super professional. The photography was great and showed the house and grounds very well. However the reason for the unequivocal 5 Star rating, is that everyone we dealt with realised that we were not just selling a house, we were selling our home. This made all the difference to us. Some people may wonder if it is worth paying the slightly higher commission that Fine & Country charge. Based on our experience, we would say 100% yes. The kindness, professionalism and attention to detail were exemplary. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Chris provided us with sound advice and judgement at the start of the process with Tania handling the prospective clients in a highly professional way. Sue, in the office, was an excellent guide to the management of the process and Julie Vassar worked closely with us keeping us informed all through the purchasing process which proved reassuring. The photography and sales material was of a really high standard which went over and above what we have seen before adding to the high standard and quality of the sales process. From my first meeting with Chris to then being in regular contact with Sue, Tania and later Graham in the office, I always received a very warm friendly & informed service. The phone is always answered or most importantly a call is returned promptly. I must also mention Sarah the photographer and Philippa in after sales, again both a credit to the team. Frightening and traumatic experience: When I got back to Brocco on the Park, a Fine and Country hotel, at 1.30am, sober, after attending a 50th (the reason for my stay) the door was locked. No one answered the phone, nor my knocking at the door, or the doorbell. After many panicked attempts, including calling my husband and waking him up to ask for help, I called my friends whose party it was and got a cab across town to sleep on their sofa. I had very little sleep. At least I had somewhere to go. The hotel had a night porter, but he must have been sleeping on the job. Also they were supposed to give me a code for the door, which they did not do. I was cold, tired and afraid to be stranded on my own in the middle of the night. My essential medications along with the rest of my carefully packed belongings were in the room.
