After having second thoughts on what we thought would be our forever home, we phoned Harron Homes about the Oaks in Somercotes. I came in contact with Ann about the site and we spoke at length about our needs and what the site could offer us. Ann told us about the house type that would suit us and the plot. We then arranged to go and look at a complete house type of that style with Ann and nothing was to much with the questions we asked. Fast forwarding to the launch day we had been invited down to view the plot the day before and we loved it and couldn't be happier. nothing is to much of an issue and any questions you have are always answered. Ann is so lovely and anyone would be lucky to buy a house at the Oaks with her. Thankyou :)

We moved in our Harron home at Christmas it was a bit of a rocky start but everything went well in the end. Natalie at castle gardens has been fabulous. She supported us throughout the purchase process of the property and always kept us up to date with what was going on. Evan now we have moved in Natalie is always on hand to answer any questions and support us with problems we have. We have had a few snags in the property which have slowly gotten sorted. This would be one of the negatives I have to say, there is no speed when trying to get through to after sales team and updates are very rare as to when things are getting sorted.

Charlotte was wonderful!

We dealt with Charlotte at Shipley Lakeside, and whilst we have decided to look elsewhere to be closer to family, we really wish we were buying from her as she was so lovely and helpful during our visits. She put us in touch with a mortgage advisor who we really like as well, so she's still helping us in our first time home buying experience. Would definitely recommend looking at these houses if it's a good area for you as Charlotte is wonderful and so helpful, and the area is fantastic!

I decided to downsize ......

I decided to downsize as my property was too big for me. On a whim I visited the Laughton Gate development and viewed a 3 bedroom property which was nearly finished. Josh the development representative gave me details of how Harron Homes could assist me in selling my property and advised me to visit the showroom at their Rossington development. I fell in love with the show home immediately and set the buying process in motion the next day. Josh has been very helpful and supportive throughout the process and keeps me up to date with pictures of my house through the building process. He explains everything in detail and has been very patient with me as its the first time I've purchased a house on my own. There's been no pushy salesman techniques used which nowadays is rare. I'm looking forward to moving into my new home in a few weeks time and begin a new chapter in my life. 😀

We have just brought a new house and recently moved in. Julie-Ann has been with us through the journey and made everything so easy. She has been a support and just completely looked after us including my 3 children who have come to really enjoy going to see her. The site manager John has been really helpful so far and has made us feel that if we were to have any issues we would be well supported. The house is lovely, the area is so calm and quiet and so far we are very happy with how Harron Homes have dealt with us.

From our initial drop in to the show home at Shipley Lakeside moments before closing, Charlotte made us feel incredibly welcome and took the time to give an overview of the site and show home, and booked us straight in for a viewing of available plots. You got to have a Harron Home!

after my park run which is next to Brierley Heath site, I went to check out the show case houses. I was amazed by the structure and quality of the house build and Ann's huge knowledge of every house available. We fell in love with the Birkwith house and immediately placed the deposit the next day! We didn't want to miss the very last few houses developing! We felt the sale and part exchange process was smooth and straightforward. There's a good selection of decorations and add ons to the house. We are currently buying a new build on Shipley Lakeside through the part exchange process. We’re really pleased with the offer made on our current home and feel it reflects its value in the current market. Called at Chariots Keep this afternoon for advise about bungalows. Alison was extremely helpful and explained everything clearly for us. She gave us more ideas to think about and showed the plots available, and what we could do with them, regarding parking. Had a wonderful experience buying a home from Harron Homes at York Vale Gardens in Howden, Goole. Nicola, in the Sales Office was extremely helpful in the search for our new home and took a lot of the stress out of buying when suddenly family matters took priority. She was very thorough in getting things done and communicating between us, the solicitors and estate agents on daily basis. Beth Gillott also helped us get the right deal at the start of the process. Once our house was nearing completion, we were introduced to Russ, the Site manager and Dan the Assistant Site Manager who gave us a tour around in hard hats of our new home and gave us a preview of what the house would look like. We were also able to ask them any questions we needed answering. I felt they all went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. I am now in my new house and the build quality and features that we have is second to none. Thank you Harron Homes for our dream house!

Good service

Overall we have had a positive experience with Harron Homes. The location is absolutely beautiful. Charlotte was brilliant with her customer service, providing weekly updates, answering our (many) questions, and even taking the time to call us to ensure we understood everything. We did a part exchange and I have no complaints about the process, it was all very smooth and quick. Our only main issue lies with the poor quality of the road laid outside the house (unfortunately a private road), which is not the same quality as elsewhere on the estate. Hopefully this will be resolved promptly but we are still awaiting updates on this. We do love the house and they’ve dealt with our snags relatively quickly, so I would recommend overall!

Simpson Park - My fiancé and I are currently in the final few weeks of our new build journey with Harron Homes at Simpson Park. The process from the start until now has been great, all because of the very helpful and informative sales person (Michelle) and her colleagues at Simpson Park. Happy with Harron Homes

I began my exciting new home journey with Harron Homes in Hucknall in June 2025. We moved in to our beautiful house in December. We have been very happy from the beginning with the helpful service from the sales office, particularly helping me make good choices for kitchen and flooring and the site managers for responding quickly and giving us a great home demonstration before we moved in. There were a few snags to sort but nothing major and I felt and still feel very well looked after. Harron homes were also good for the incentives they offered us compared to other local house companies . I fully recommend choosing them.

We walked in Shipley Park frequently and had spotted the Harron Homes development. We went in to talk to Charlotte and get some advice when we sold our own home very quickly. She was so helpful and engaging, telling us everything about the homes and the development. We knew we wanted to buy but unfortunately no new homes were available in our timescale. For that reason we looked for a home being resold and have recently bought and moved into a Tonbridge. We absolutely love the house and the surroundings. We couldn’t be happier!
