Avoid if selling a house! • Lie to customers • No follow up • No customer Service • Don’t act in seller best interest • Don’t communicate with each other or customers • Floor plans with major errors, leaving out windows and huge errors in sizes. It is expected for an estate agent to follow up every enquiry and interest in a property on behalf of the seller, but Haart do not do this. You would think the more interested parties, the better the selling price could be, but Haart seem to not care and instead put buyers off dealing with them and in turn must get a lesser sold value for clients. My experience… After making contact to view a property Haart had for sale I initially had to chase up my enquiry to book a viewing as they did not get back to me in a reasonable timeframe. Finally, I had managed to make a viewing appointment. On the morning of the appointment, I was contacted by Ben the branch manager to ensure all was ok for our appointment at 4pm, to which I confirmed. I arrived as arranged, in good time for the viewing at 4pm. The property I was viewing was less than 5 minutes from the local Haart branch I was dealing with. However, after standing in the rain at the property I was viewing for 10 mins past the appointment time, I called the branch and spoke with Lily. I was told that Timothy was coming and was running a bit behind, I would have expected a courtesy call to advise me of this, but I let that slide as I was a keen buyer. I then asked how long he would be and was told to give it 5 minutes and if no sign then to call back. I asked if they could contact Timmothy to ensure he was on the way but was told they do not have a contact number for him, which shock I expressed I can’t understand why they have no contact number for a member of staff, this was laughed off unprofessionally, but as a keenly interested buyer I waited with hesitation. I gave it 10 minutes instead of the instructed 5 minutes but still no sign, so I called again and this time Natasha, another member of staff answered. I was now told it was Ben the branch manager that was coming and he was stuck in traffic and would be these in 5 minutes (Deja vu). This time I waited another 15 minutes while looking around the outside of the property in the rain. 15 minutes passed and still no sign, it was now nearly 40 minutes past the viewing appointment with no call from Haart, Timothy or Ben to advise of the situation/update me on a eta. Finding it hard to believe they were run running 40 minutes late getting to the property that was less than 5 minutes from the branch, I decided to give up and left. I was expecting to hear from the office/agents Timothy or Ben to apologise and rearrange. Sadly, there has been no further contact from Haart. I suppose I can excuse Timmothy from not contacting me as he doesn’t have a phone, but Ben being the branch manager should have certainly tried his upmost to pursue me if he was acting in the seller’s best interests. Now this seller has lost a keenly interested buyer and so will many more that choose Haart as I will not deal with them after this appalling customer service and uncalled for treatment.

Cannot recommend them highly enough. We had previously tried to sell through two other agents, both of which didn't seem to really care, we were recommended haart. They didn't disapoint. Ben Greentree, Natasha Ayling and Samuel Parsons were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble, no question too silly and they just cared about us. So refreshing! They understood our needs and were realistic without being patronising or condescending, unlike the other agents we had used. They marketed our property superbly and kept in touch throughout the final conveyancing when a sale was agreed. Thanks to this amazing team, we are fulfilling our dream of moving back to Scotland. A little over a year ago l wrote a review of the Haart office in Dereham, giving them five stars and lavishing praise. Since then the original sale fell through and we've had a king's share of bad luck. But our friends at Haart didn't let the circumstances get in the way of selling our house and it turned out to be 5th time lucky! So I have decided to re-review the office because 5 starts isn't enough. Tireless efforts, constant communication and boundless enthusiasm are some of the things that really make the Dereham office stand out. They were highly recommended from the start and we soon found out why. A special mention to Roxanne and her magic camera and of course Ben, the master of ceremonies. Thank you again and to anyone in Norfolk looking to sell or buy a house, these are the people to talk to.

Particularly Ben who has been a shining light to us throughout the whole process, he has been so helpful and easy to communicate with and has truly gone above and beyond what we were expecting, he has been an absolute pleasure to work with to get our first property. To ANYONE who has a mortgage in principle that is not your typical highstreet lender DO NOT even bother offering on a haart estate agents house as they will not premote you to the vender of whom you would like to buy a house of! The branch manager Elton is extremely patronising and would not let me and my partner up our offer for a home as we do not have a ‘highstreet’ mortage in principle even though we are in a very good postition have a large deposit and where willing to increase our offer! Very slow and had to chase for ANY information just overall very poor experience DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

Having had my property up for sale with another estate agent for over 6months, constantly being asked to drop the price, and having the same feedback every time if any at times. I was starting to lose faith. I was left feeling very venerable and disappointed after every viewing. I was feeling like i was being fobbed off all the time. Having never sold a property before i had no idea what should be happening or what was right of wrong thing in getting the viewings and marketing right. But i soon changed after a call from Roxy who came round with Victoria, sat with me and explained everything. Review is more for Roxy Samuels than Haart Dereham. Roxy was our agent with Haart and did all the advertising and viewings for our property sale, she also helped to oversee our purchase. Roxy was excellent at the marketing for our home, the photographs she took were excellent and accurate, they showed the property at its best angles without being misleading. She took took great care to stage each room and as a result our property sold within 2 weeks of being listed. Once we had sold Roxy continued to help support us to get our sale/purchase completion across the line. Roxy went above and beyond following up with other agents and solicitors within the chain and was excellent at keeping me in the loop. 10/10 would recommend her as an agent.

Ben has been absolutely amazing can not recommend him and Haarts enough they have worked above and beyond over the last 18 months and have been so professional and supportive through what has been a really difficult journey of selling my mothers property following her death and coping with an extremely slow probate process, nothing has been too much trouble . Communication has been perfect at all stages no hard sell in the beginning to get me to sign with them, compassion and understanding in the beginning of the process and when I needed to stop the process for a while for my own grieving Haarts were amazing and waited for me to be ready. The whole process was amazing from photos to open days the entire team are so professional Roxy was so attentive and supportive in the beginning I especially loved the fact that there was no chase up hounding me for my business, unlike another estate agent who called me daily for 2 weeks asking if I had made up my mind . Ben has been wonderful putting up with many phone calls and questions he would definitely be my number one go to if I ever sold another property. I used Haart & co following total waste of time with 2 other estate agents. Their representative Ben was a total revelation compared to my previous interactions with local estate agents.
