Bricks+Mortar have been amazing with both the sale of my property and support with my onward purchase that they were also managing. Carl was helpful and informative on appraisal and really approachable. Su and Rhonda were both very responsive and communicative when arranging viewings and then guiding use through the process and liaising across the chain and with solicitors. Extra bonus was the pay in advance deal which was very affordable. Thank you for all of your help!

From the very first day that I met Carl, when he came to value my house in Wirksworth, I felt I was in very capable and friendly hands. As I had not sold or bought a house for many years, Carl explained everything to me and kept it all very simple for me to understand how the whole procedure would work, keeping me informed every step of the way. Explaining too, the different ways in which my house could be sold. A traditional way with a percentage fee of sale at the end, or an upfront fee, with nothing else to pay once the sale goes through. I chose the later and I couldn't have made a better choice. Having chose this option, because I had some unexpected issues with where I was wanting to move to, as well as some family health issues along the way, I was able to take my house off the market, and then remarket it, at no extra cost to myself. This happened on two occasions, over a year or so, but with having the upfront fee already paid, requesting to put my house back on the market was an absolute breeze. Just a quick email of confirmation and there I was, back on the market in a jiffy. As for Carl's very efficient, and very friendly team, they also took care of all the viewings for me too. Keeping me informed regularly with how my house was performing and offering new ways and social media outlets, to really actively market my house in a highly visual way. (All a little beyond me to be honest as I am not really that familiar with all this social media thing, but it certainly seems to give your property a higher chance of being put out their to the folks that use this social media thing).... Sorry showing my age a bit here!! With Bricks and Mortar in Wirksworth, I never once felt like I was dealing with a commercial business, it felt like I was dealing with a very helpful family, who were there to support me all the way from valuation to the final sale. Some people are of the view, that if you use these pay up front schemes, that you dont always get a full attentive service. Well for all you doubting Thomas's out there, from my experience, this is definitely NOT, the case. I was kept informed of viewings, feedback and enquiries about my property, in super quick time, so I would never hesitate to highly recommend Carl and his fabulous team at Bricks and Mortar in Wirksworth, to anyone who is looking for a friendly local company who will look after you (and your property), and not only go that extra mile to alleviate some of the stress associated with buying and selling houses, but become your friends along the way... They took care of everything for me and I am so grateful for their great, personal approach to selling houses. I certainly felt like I was valued, not only as a customer but as a friend too. Many thanks once again to Carl and his super helpful team.

From coming to look at the property until the day of the removal the staff at Bricks & Mortar were SO helpful & very efficient. The photographs taken of our home were excellent as was the description. Whenever I phoned with a question Susan or Phoebe were quick to answer or to get back to me as soon as possible. Carl runs a very professional estate agents & has surrounded himself with excellent staff, from the photographer to the office staff & makes a very stressful process as stress free as is possible. Fees are very competitive too & when I moved, Bricks & Mortar was offering a flat fee paid upfront which was very reasonable. Many thanks for everything.

Carl and the team at Bricks & Mortar offer exceptional care and service. There are many stereotypes applied to Estate Agents, but Carl has set out to bust every last one. It is obvious from the first meeting that his is a business built around strong person-centred and ethical values. It is evident from the amount of sold signs displaying the Bricks & Mortar brand, everyone who deals with B&M tells someone else. If you want an Estate Agent that is decent, honest, transparent and goes the extra mile then no look no further than Carl and the B&M team.

We would recommend Bricks and Mortar and would use them again. The cost was great and the photographs/write up used for marketing were excellent. They were accessible throughout the viewing process and responded quickly when we wanted to discuss price and marketing adjustments and actioned these quickly. Once the sale was agreed we were allocated a named member of the team for sales progression who was very pleasant and helpful. Earlier in the sales process they were not as proactive as we might have liked but were amazing in the final few weeks and days when things became more complex and helped us get the sale across the line.

Carl and Abby were fantastic throughout. We were considering not using a high street estate agent, but after Carl came to visit us at the property we were certain he and Bricks + Mortar would do an excellent job, with very reasonable prices too. What we didn't expect, however, was the amazing service we received from Abby once we started having viewings. We had accepted an offer within a week (unfortunately this was just before the fated 'mini budget' and it fell through). However, Abby found a new buyer before it even went back on the market. She followed up every week, and was a really good line of communication when there was confusion with time delays etc. She made a fairly stressful transaction much less stressful. I'd fully recommend Bricks + Mortar for their professionalism, human communication, great photos and calm yet efficient manner. Thank you :-)

The team at Bricks and Mortar were great, our chain was a bit of a nightmare (through no fault of Bricks and Mortar nor of our seller), but as a company they were willing to pick up the slack from other parts of the chain (that weren’t doing it properly), and by doing so, they helped to avoid the whole thing falling through. It became a bit of a team effort in the end and Bricks and Mortar were always contactable, willing to find answers about what was going on, and always went the extra mile.
