GoogleNicky approached us whilst we were renovating a property for renting. It took Nicky less than a week to find us some very nice tenants. During the whole process we were kept up to date and the paperwork was handled very professionally and in good time. Very impressed.

GoogleKingsleigh are the letting agents for our property. They provided exemplary service in finding a tenant, with frequent updates, always available even outside of working hours, and much better value than our previous (larger) letting agent. They were intent on getting the best deal for us even when it wasn't necessarily the best deal for them. Whenever I called I'd normally speak to Peter himself and therefore we were always up to date with each other and there was no need to say something like "I spoke to your colleague last week in order to..etc" just to start a conversation where we left off, which I often found was the case elsewhere. We would thoroughly recommend their service for anyone in the North Essex/Dedham vale area wishing to let a property.

GoogleI switched from a ho-hum chain name to Kingsleigh Residential and what a difference! Kingsleigh put together a beautiful listing, were proactive with the marketing and each member of staff remained current with the sale so no need to explain over and over. Follow through was excellent so there was never any need to chase and they went out of their way to help with any issues that arose. Kingsleigh are a friendly, professional team who bring a welcoming personal touch to Real Estate.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I shall reply to each of your points in turn, however, may I start by saying we have had no dealings with a landlord by the name of Louise Brett, under whose name this review was left. However, yesterday we had some negotiations of this nature with a landlord of a different name; I’m not sure why you would choose to leave a review under a different name. Before taking a holding deposit from any prospective tenant, they are provided with a draft copy of a tenancy agreement so that they are fully aware of what they are reserving / signing up to. Tenancy agreements need to be compliant with current legislation; as members of the RLA, we use their standard contracts so that we can ensure compliance. The tenancy agreement that you supplied had at least three clauses that needed changing, not only relating to the Tenant Fee ban (charging the tenants for an inventory) but regarding tenants being liable for repairs to the property, fixtures and fittings, even as a result of fair wear and tear - and without going through it with a fine-tooth comb, we could not be certain that it was otherwise compliant. At this stage, we did offer to complete the tenancy agreement and referencing checks for a nominal additional fee to ensure compliance, which you declined. Had your tenancy agreement been compliant, this would not have been necessary. You were also offered to use our standard, compliant RLA contract FREE OF CHARGE instead of your own agreement, which again, you declined. As you are aware, deposits must be held by a government-approved scheme; your tenancy agreement named one of the approved schemes, we merely asked for confirmation of your membership number, which you would not provide. We would not ‘tell’ you which one of the approved schemes to use, that is of no benefit to us. At this stage, we chose to walk away and let the prospective tenants know (who did indeed exist) that we were no longer marketing your property. Our reputation is important to us; we could not introduce tenants where we were uncertain of the compliance of your tenancy agreement. We pride ourselves on our high standards; perhaps other agents may have chosen to turn a blind eye, take the money and hope for the best. But not us. Arguably, this is professionalism at its finest.

GooglePeter, Jo, Nicki, Sarah are a team and they are totally on the ball, from advertising our properties through to completion. Nothing was ever to much effort and we at Ponder would highly recommend them. We do not see them as an Estate Agency, we see them as part of our team.
