buying a house during covid restrictions was very difficult, limited viewings and a stampede of people wanting the same house as you. We found a house that we liked online and asked for a viewing, it was fully booked. An hour later we get a call from Ellie to say we have one slot can you make it. I viewed the house on my own and knew we would fit nicely as a family into it. After some persuasion from the estate agents our offer was upped and we were going to be the buyers. A couple of visits to the house after that, were made easy by Ellie showing us as a family round. Now happily 3 months into our home, thank you wards

We usde Grace for selling our flat and I've got to say the service was 100%. She was always at the end of the phone and kept us updated on emails. Most of all grace took the pain out of selling as I had a difficult buyer and she dealt with it all even went the extra mile out of hours to keep things on track. Made selling a home a pleasure and would definitely recommend the service to anyone.

We recently asked Wards to give us a valuation of our bungalow. We are not ready to sell at this time but could be sometime in the future. James Rixon came to give us a valuation on our property. He was excellent. He called us prior to the appointment to see if all was still ok with the time. He was very kind and complimentary concerning our home. He explained everything fully and clearly and answered all of our questions. He was very professional. He was not pushy but patient and considerate. We were very pleased with the service offered by Wards.

I purchased my dream home through Wards Headcorn and the service has been fantastic from start to finish. Hollie, Tom and Caleb have been nothing short of brilliant, supporting and advising me throughout the process. My only regret is that I didn’t hire Ward’s solicitor partner Martin Tolkhurst as the sale would have gone through much quicker. Our sale was delayed by a few weeks due to our solicitor

The seller of the property we bought as first time buyers used Wards so we had a couple of dealings with them. These consisted of when the seller was in the process of accepting our offer he was told by Wards to not accept and they also suggested we had CCJs and bad credit history (they had literally no proof of this as it simply wasn’t true)… they had tried to sell us their ‘VIP membership club wherein if you have your mortgage and solicitors through them you’ll get preferential treatment - we said no as had already organised and I fear this may of been the reason they tried to dissuade our seller from us.Once our offer was accepted we had the pleasure of being hounded by the sales progression manager from Wards every few days - we were first time buyers and she didn’t talk us through the process or help us at all really, I got the impression that she was just out for the sellers in our chain as even when it was them holding everything up she’d be on our case.Then finally we came to our completion day, we went to collect the keys from Wards Dartford Being very excited to finallyGet the keys to our new home and we’re told ‘I don’t want this to come out the wrong way, but if there’s anything wrong in your new home then don’t come to us’.I would never recommend Wards and would never use them in the future. I felt discriminated against whenever I dealt with any of their staff. Disgraceful.

The wonderful Wards team of Rochester

The staff at Wards on Rochester High Street are fantastic people. Debbie and Jason at the branch helped me with all the endless papers, reports and surveys that are part of the process of buying a property. They were never too busy to go through any paperwork with me. I cannot even begin to explain how patient and kind they are. Every step of the way they have been there for us, advised us and guided us. Matthew and Dawn have always been incredibly friendly and welcoming and Dawn showed me around the property the second time and even helped me 'hunt the boiler'. Debbie, the manager is one of the kindest, most lovely people I have met. No question or query from me, however silly or trivial, was too much for her to answer and deal with. I feel lucky to have found this team. In fact, I never signed up with any other agents. They will change any negative opinions you have of estate agents. I must mention Judy who, through a lot of negotiation, sorted out an earlier completion date. The Wards team at Rochester are wonderful people. I will never forget their kindness, patience and honesty. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.
