Where to start? The absolute unprofessionalism at Anthony Martin should be studied. Tina at the Bexley branch has to be one of the worst employees they hire. When trying to discuss a very serious concern with a neighbour who is creating antisocial behaviour and illegal drug use, Tina decided to gaslight and claim that it was all a lie! Unfortunately video footage doesn’t tend to lie… also in regards to a safeguarding concern Tina said “most children live like that”. I was absolutely shocked at the lack of empathy and compassion from this individual, or the ability to take a matter seriously. Avoid unless you like to be accused of being a liar and enjoy potential hearing loss from loud music.

Go above and beyond

I sold through another agent (and really wish I hadn’t!) I purchased through Anthony Martin and my experience could not have been more different. Georgia was amazing. I can honestly say I don’t think the transaction would have gone through without her, she went above and beyond and could not have been anymore helpful. Tarkan was also great. When i called the office they always answered the phone and my questions. They were all friendly, professional and incredibly helpful.

Negligent Management, Intimidating Environment, and Extremely Unprofessional Staff

I would strongly advise people to think carefully before renting through Anthony Martins. In my experience, serious concerns raised by local residents about tenant behaviour were ignored or dismissed rather than properly addressed. The property has regularly been the source of extremely loud parties late into the night, with large groups gathering not only inside the house but also across neighbouring front gardens. Residents have felt intimidated by groups of men congregating outside, and the disruption has had a major impact on families living nearby. There have also been ongoing concerns raised by neighbours about suspected drug use at the property and the exposure of children to inappropriate and distressing behaviour. Despite repeated complaints, the response from staff was dismissive and unprofessional. On top of this, staff were rude, aggressive, and at times verbally abusive when concerns were raised. Instead of showing empathy or taking responsibility, they appeared unwilling to engage constructively with residents affected by the situation. Estate agents have a responsibility not only to landlords and tenants, but also to the wider community affected by the properties they manage. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.

Georgia was incredible at making things happen for the progress of our sale as well as our purchase, she was always contactable and truly went above and beyond to help us through it all. She made the biggest effort to help us, including driving to our place to sign a form and dropped it to our solicitors as well which was extremely helpful!!! Could not rate Georgia enough or thank her for help and service through out the whole process.

I thought I’d left a review at the beginning of the year but it didn’t post. I really want to thank the star and angel that is Amanda for tirelessly working to help us get our first home. There were times when we thought we wouldn’t get it but Amanda kept our hopes up and gave us an incredible amount of support. Well what can I say selling my house in January 2020, meeting Tarken at my home for the valuation was an experience I never had before his professionalism was fantastic making me feel relaxed the support was too we had a few viewer and that when I meet George another outstanding professional his understanding in me was second to known he went beyond expectations for me we then hit the lockdown everything was on hold till June again I took very ill George dealt with everything explaining to the buyers that I was admitted to hospital and recovery would be 6/8 week they were fantastic and understanding George kept me upbeat when I was down I would never hesitate to tell people Anthony Martin in Dartford are the very best George you are amazing through my I’ll health my tears you were there for me. This is the second time we have used Anthony Martin for a house sale and are as impressed with them as always. George was fantastic, he helped us understand the market and helped us achieve an asking price that we wanted whilst remaining competitive in the market. The worst letting agency

This is the worst letting agency I have ever dealt with, including student agencies during my time at university. I rented through this company for approximately five years. Throughout that time, they were consistently rude and uncooperative. They repeatedly refused to carry out necessary repairs, failed to change my rent payment date, and then accused me of paying late for years, despite the fact that I had already paid them hundreds of pounds to adjust the date. After completing the initial fixed-term contract, we moved onto a rolling contract. Despite this, they forced us into a new fixed-term agreement for no legitimate reason, seemingly to prevent us from leaving, and did so under the threat of eviction. When we informed them that we were in the final stages of purchasing a house and only required a few additional weeks without committing to another full year, they attempted to evict me and my pregnant wife. Their actions almost resulted in us losing the purchase of our property. They also gave us permission to paint the property and are now attempting to charge us for repainting. Finally, they are trying to withhold the maximum possible amount from our deposit after the tenancy ended, despite the property being in a comparable condition to when we initially moved in. These are not all of the issues we experienced, but they should be more than enough for anyone to make the right decision and choose literally any other company.

I used their services before and was not happy. I left a negative review here and was called by a director promising to get back to me if I was to remove my review which I did. 6 months passed no news to my complaint. This time review stays and don’t bother calling. Response to owner: Your staff and your management failed to address our needs and concerns.
