Have used Thorntons Solicitors for my previous purchase. Have been hunting for a new house for a couple of years, and Sandy had made several offers during this period. Once our offer was accepted, Sandy managed to sell our old house and buying the new house within a fairly short period. The service and communications were excellent. Couldn't recommend Sandy and his colleagues more!

Can't recommend them enough - Michelle at Thorntons Dundee has been patient, supportive and positive throughout the process of buying and selling our home, she's made the whole process so much less stressful and has really put our mind at ease even when everything else was going wrong/being delayed. Very very happy customers and we will definitely not hesitate to come to Thorntons again in the future.

The team at Thornton’s are incredibly informative and professional. Throughout the whole process I was kept up-to-date with any developments and didn’t feel lost or unheard if I had any concerns. A final point I have to make is how understanding the team are, despite any personal issues or further problems that would prolong the process, they always made sure I was okay to carry on. Couldn’t have had a better experience or Solicitor.

Thorntons supported us through our sale in England and purchase in Scotland. Stephen Drake, and lately James Martin, skilfully managed the transaction across the two different legal jurisdictions. In particular, they supported us through both issues with the fabric of our Scottish cottage, and then issues down our chain with another legal firm who nearly derailed the whole deal. Stephen and James acted calmly and wisely throughout, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
