Recently sold 2 properties with hunters , nicola came out and valued them both and was extremely helpful professional and very friendly, once they were on the market Philo and rhys kept me updated with viewings and offers and they were both a pleasure to deal with and were always on hand to answer any questions I had, I sold both properties within the first week and I can't rate hunters highly enough, would highly recommend to anyone
Thanks for the review Barbara. It's really appreciated

Great team very efficient. They make selling the house so easy and smooth. It was on the market the next day and I was kept up to date with every viewing.
Thanks for the fantastic review Julie.

Avoid Hunters like the plague!
Hunters Pontefract are an absolute shambles! We found a property we liked and we wanted to move in, it was a townhouse property 3 bedroom with an en-suite priced at £475. What an absolute steal, right? Wrong! On the day we moved in, which was August 2018 our boiler was not giving hot water as it had no pressure in it. We called someone out who didn’t arrive until 2 days later, you have to report the issue on the internet system they use fix flo. The boiler had lost pressure, the piping work by the boiler had a hole which would leak when pressure needed adding, sadly our boiler kept losing pressure repeatedly and it was up to us to keep adding pressure every 2-3 days as their response when I called is “that’s normal for a boiler to lose pressure” . It leaked into my little boy’s room at one point and we were told we are liable for paintwork and damage. He had to be in our room for over a week due to the damp state of the room until it dried out. They sent someone out in relation to the boiler who said “it’s a number of things that could be wrong so I can’t fix it” We began having a leak from our bathroom and reported it, the gentleman that came out suggested our wall was causing the leak and to monitor it. It began leaking into the living room, for weeks no one could identify the issue. Lastly, an agent that came out noticed our tiling as he advised it was really to fall off and was not fitted correctly condemned us from using the bathroom and came out again to rip the tiling away. The en suite was the same but this is still awaiting fixing. Anyway, the leak was not getting better and we couldn’t use the bath or the shower for over a week so were using the en suite, the leak kept getting bigger and bigger. I was at the doctors and they asked if someone could come try and fix the leak whilst I was out which I agreed to, I came back to my home and the living room had a gaping hole in the ceiling full of dust and mold. I was cried that much my mum called the contractor to ask what on earth he had done but his point was “well, I’ve fixed the leak but we can’t fix the ceiling so arrange that with hunters” 3 months later and still not fixed! At this point, I asked to be let out of my contract for the safety of my son and what he was living in.My oven door was loose as well, it would stay up right but would fall down with no springs to steady it when opened so was rather heavy to open. They couldn’t do anything as my landlord was on holiday and could not get a response from him until returning home. After the date he was meant to return home, they couldn’t get a response about the oven. Then, I was baking with my son and the buns had gone in the oven. 10 minutes in, I was stood washing up and my son was making icing on the kitchen floor and the oven door started to crash down, I had to push my son out of the way and it hit the floor to glass shattering everywhere, including glass being stuck in my foot which took over an hour to take out. My partner had to come home early from work because I was in such a state but luckily our son was unscathed. I cried and begged them to let us leave on the phone and spoke to Amie who promised a contractor would be out to clean the glass up and try and repair the oven with tools in his van . The man came out in a jaguar in passing from a rugby game, he had been instructed just to take a look. He said before even looking at the oven “it needs a new oven, I will leave you to clean it up” I was shocked. I was expecting to have some help at least disposing of the glass as he was being paid to attend the property so me and my partner had to clean the glass up and throw it in the bin repeatedly cutting ourselves from the glass on the floor. Within a couple of days, the chap was back with a new oven so I was happy with the quick turn around of that.At the beginning of September we were told we could vacate our property the next month as it was requested to leave by October at the latest. We are leaving in a couple of weeks but the repairs such as the boiler and ceiling hole and tiling in en suite are still awaiting repairs and the house is already back up to rent even though it is still awaiting repairs. If you see a townhouse at £475 with these guys and think it looks nice and you want to go for it. DONT DO IT. Avoid Hunters at all cost, they are an absolute shambles!*Update* 2 weeks before leaving whilst packing up they emailed us saying a house viewing was to take place, I asked if this could be done a different time as we’d all be tired after work with no 48 hours notice, solid no. The same day my son was sent home from nursery throwing up and feeling unwell. I called asking if they would reschedule and basically the manager informed me “if you don’t comply, we can keep you in your tenancy and you can’t leave” I told them my son would be laid on the sofa throwing up and they just didn’t care.

Disappointed with the overall experience. The response time was extremely slow, and communication throughout the process …
Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience; we’re sorry to hear you didn’t get the service we pride ourselves on and I hope I can offer an explanation. It seems that the application form you had submitted for a … More

Hunters Kendal
Hunters. Kendal.Have no problem recommending this branch. Unfortunately lockdown got in the way. Launch was on Wednesdsy and lockdown Friday which restricted viewing. Kept me well informed as to who was viewing. When I did get a sale dealt with the buyer in no uncertain terms as he was trying to find lots of faults to drive down the price. He didn't succeed! Suzanne Jackson valued my property and was informative and good to deal with as were the rest of the staff in the office dealing with Kendal.

North Somerset’s Best.
I’d just like to thank all the staff at Hunters in North Somerset, Yatton, Portishead and Nailsea offices. They have sold 2 Of our private houses for us in the past 3 Years, and one of our rental properties before that. All Were sold in a matter of days. Of the 2 recent sales the 1st one went through smoothly in 2 months. The second was not quite so good through no fault of Hunters I might add.2nd property sold the 1st day on the market but turned out the lady was telling porkies about her funding so she disappeared after 2 weeks🤬Another Confirmed buyer Within the same week and except for the obvious Covid delays, mainly being unable to sort removals, this time everything went as planned. Many thanks to Richard, Mandy and James for their excellent Professional service and I would strongly recommend Hunters to anyone thinking of selling in the North Somerset area. They know the market in this area so well and really go the extra mile for their clients.

I have just put my house on the market with Hunters. Early days, but the brochure looks fabulous thanks to Hazel. She has a great eye for detail and produced some fabulous pictures of my home. Hazel took the time to go through the photo's and discuss them with me before she left so we were able to select what went on to advertise my property. This was all at lunch time...by tea time everything was received by email for my approval and my home was advertised and on line by close of day. Fabulously efficient and very well done. Thank you.

We have never used an estate agent to sell any of our houses before. We chose Hunters to act on our behalf for this house. Hazel came and chatted with us, answered all our questions, photographed and valued at a price we agreed with. Her advice on which photos to use was very useful. In a few hours the brochure was online and we were very pleased with it. Within a few days there was a good number of potential viewers arranged to look at our house, fingers crossed it will be sold soon. We have been given regular updates and find the whole team very helpful, special thanks to Hazel and Amy S.

We have just put our house in the market with Hunters. Hazel was great, at the valuation she explained how the whole process worked and the next steps if we decided to proceed. The pictures for the listing were taken in the morning, which she discussed and showed us at the time and asked if we were happy with them and had lots of advice for how to show our home to its potential. A few hours later we had an email with the brochure to approve and then it went live on the website that same afternoon. It is early days in our house selling process, but so far we cannot recommend Hunters enough, they are incredibly passionate and explained everything thoroughly, and answered all my many questions!

Both Jane & Alan have been super professional in the way they've helped me market my property. Hunters should be extremely proud of the people that help make their business successful.

Dishonest, incompetent and terrible attitude
Should you choose this letting agents here are a few things you can expect as routine:1) Lying about the status of properties on the market and deliberately misleading all parties on the status of such properties.2) Arranging appointments to view properties that they don't even turn up to meet you at.3) Cocky, arrogant and sarcastic customer service. They really do not care AT ALL!Literally the worst letting agent you could ever choose to instruct. As you can see from the other reviews, dishonesty, incompetence and terrible staff attitudes are a feature. There is a reason for that. Be warned.

Extremely bad experience with Unprofessional and Rude people... Preston Road Wembley branch
Preston Road Wembley BranchI regret to say that my experience with your service has been extremely disappointing. The level of unprofessionalism displayed throughout the process was astounding. From misleading information to outright lies, it became clear that your team was not transparent or trustworthy from the start.Unfortunately, after the deal was finalized, your true nature became even more evident. The promises made prior to the transaction were not upheld, and your team showed a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I would strongly caution anyone against working with your company.Thank you for making this an experience I will never forget, but for all the wrong reasons.

Thank you so much to Rob
Thank you so much to Rob, I believe, that’s his name for going the extra mile to get my wristwatch fixed. It had unfortunately come apart whilst they were trying to install a battery. I am eternally grateful as the watch was special to me. They were most apologetic and ensured that everything was done to get the thing up and working. So once again thank you for your excellent customer service.100%

Absolutely the worst estate agents
Absolutely the worst estate agents , I booked a flat viewing at 4:45pm on Friday evening , I was left a voice message in the morning asking if I couldn’t attend please let them know, I was attending so not necessary, I drove for 50 mins in rush hour traffic and got to the property about 4:47 pm 2 mins late, on the travel over I phoned up the company 4 times leaving messages saying I will be slightly late no answer, when I go to the property the agent wasn’t there , no phone call to my mobile at any point, I knocked on the door and the owners were there very surprised to see me 🤔🤔 I said hi I have a viewing which they replied oh we didn’t know and there has been no agent there today waiting for me, it was very awkward looking around and then I left, the whole situation was a joke how DARE YOU treat potential renters/buyers that way not even turning up and even letting the owners know, waste of my travel time and petrol money , email the agents and they replied back there was someone there but because u was 2 min late they left as there to busy to wait, CROCK of S**t no one was there confirmed bye the owners, I really hope your company goes bust and u all lose your jobs , I should of look at the reviews on here before contacting your agency as there shocking and the worst Iv ever see. For a company Shameful Sharon mcevoy rude lady stay clear

Not transparent, poor communication, poor customer service
1. Not transparent, even though they have a duty to disclose issues with the property once asked.

Hunters
Hunters- Wallasey branchHunters- Wallasey branch. Horrendous. Absolutely no compassion or care during Covid-19. Even though the landlord is probably taken advantage of his mortgage holidays. Had no working fire alarms since February!!! Don’t reply to emails or answer the phone. DO NOT RENT OFF THESE. House was filthy when we moved in took me 4 days to clean before stuff could be moved in- told them this and they just said rented as seen.
