The valuation I received from another agent was too high and it took me a while to come to terms with a new asking price the second time around with Streets Ahead. I found them a little pushy in their initial pitch but after my my 20 week (!) contract with the other agent expired without any offers, we eventually agreed a contract with SA and a sale followed after the first U.K. lockdown. My overall experience with Streets Ahead was really good. All those involved in the management of viewings and progressing my sale were fantastic. Unlike other agents, I never had to chase for an update. Communication there is excellent and I really felt they were working tirelessly to progress my sale, which could have so easily fallen through during the turbulent year we’ve all had. They are heads and shoulders above the agent who acted on behalf of our seller and did so much to progress both ends of the chain for us. Huge thanks to Lucy and Catherine for all of our viewings and keeping us reliably up to date, to Danny for his shrewd negotiating and expert handling of our exchange of contracts - the most stressful day I’ve ever had in my life - we couldn’t have got through it without him - and last but not least, unflappable Andrew for being a steady and reassuring advisor while progressing both ends of our chain - he is such a pro and lovely to speak with over the phone. I’m confident that we wouldn’t have got a better result elsewhere and I have already recommended SA to a friend. Thank you Danny and team! 🙏🏼😘

Out of the approximately ten different agencies I have been dealing with over the last few weeks in my search for a new property Rayaan (Croydon Branch) was by far the most professional, polite, helpful, proactive person I had the pleasure of dealing with. Unfortunately, despite all of his efforts Streets Ahead just didn't have what I was looking for. I'm confident that given a little more time Rayaan would have definitely found me somewhere, I will happily recommend Rayaan to anyone who is looking for a new property.

I have sincerely had an awesome experience with Streets Ahead from viewing the property in 2018 to moving and checking out in 2021. It’s just been exceptional. Alex was the person who carried out my viewing appointment. She was knew exactly what I was looking for in a flat which made it easy for me to accept on first viewing. Then not to talk of late Callum who was my property manager for the duration of 2 years. He was literally the best as he dealt with all of my queries promptly, professional and effectively. Even if the landlord didn’t want to adhere to his advice, he would still inform me. I could go on and on about Callum as he was a man of his word. He always had a story and solution for every problem, lol. When it was time for my and family to start looking for a new place, George got involved with searching for new places within the area. He was also exceptional as he would send me 3-4 properties with the space of 3 days and this was on a weekly basis. He also informed his colleagues to contact me if they had other properties in mind. He has great interpersonal skills and knows how to quickly identify the needs of a customer. Not to talk of Shakira who recently took over from Callum. Also another awesome staff who is also prompt and efficient in handling queries. No wonder you guys are growing and advancing so rapidly within the UK. Absolutely blown away by the stellar service of Gemma Greasley. We were relocating from the US, dealing with time differences, pets etc- and she made the entire process efficient and seemingly effortless. Moving is challenging but her lovely personality and resourcefulness shone through. She was the ONLY estate agent, who replied fast and contacted us via What's app additionally to e-mail- catching on that we were doing this remotely from the US. She sent a detailed walk- through-video- (with a REAL lens not a fish eye that distorts the dimensions), guided us through the forms and being an advocate when it came to finding something that was pet friendly. I have never met her in person- such are the times we live in, but I am touched by her kindness and efficiency and I would bear -hug her in a heartbeat. thank you!! we are so excited about our new home.

Streets Ahead South Norwood were fantastic at selling my dads home. The house selling process was new to us and there were the implications of COVID. Phillip really helped us to understand each stage in the process which made my dad really feel at ease. Communication before every viewing was good, so he always knew when to expect people. Streets Ahead opened at 8.30am and at 8.31am I had a voicemail from Libby. I asked if I could view the property ASAP and she met me there a couple of hours later. Streets Ahead Purley were super keen to get us on their books, and once we’d signed up they quickly started getting people through the door. Having secured a buyer there were unfortunately legal issues with the chain below us, which delayed our sale. After nearly a year our buyer pulled out of the purchase; but the Streets Ahead team had been trying to progress the sale and then got straight back on it and were able to arrange a high number of viewings in a short time. This ‘open day’ resulted in a strong offer and second time round we exchanged / completed within eight weeks. Their fees were higher than the competition, but the extra cost was genuinely well worth it. Our previous agent told us that their ‘network of branches’ would all be working for us and trying to sell our property; but we saw no evidence of this. With Streets Ahead this really was the case, and it really did feel that the whole team was trying to sell our house. They seemed to work harder, certainly worked longer hours, and were great and drumming up support for our property and getting people through the door. Many thanks to the whole team (a few of whom have now left). Jason and Jo from the Purley branch were the team that finally got us over the line, and big, big thanks to Andrew our Sales Progressor who kept everything moving smoothly once the sale had been agreed. In addition to these guys, thanks to many of the other team members who we worked with, including Gemma, Lara, Jamie, Catherine, and Diana; who all played a key role in selling our house.
