I strongly recommend against trusting Stirling Ackroyd with the management of your house. Their staff are poorly trained, inexperienced and lack a professional approach. They simply act as a middle man between landlord, tenant and contractors without any real management expertise. I was stuck with this outgoing repairs including a freezing house during 2 winters in a row yet still there are an obscene amount of things which require repair. I had a broken window for 3 months as well during summer (luckily) and had to deal with all sorts of issues because of that. Property manager went on vacation only to forget about this issue completely. Their only goal is to save their landlords some money. Now they are trying to make it a condition that only if I renew my contract will they fix the freezing temperatures I have been dealing with for more than 1 year and a half.

Really pleased with the service provided by Tim Nagamani (Senior Property Manager)Unfortunately there were a number of issues with my property let which left me totally deflated and disappointed with how matters had been handled previously. Tim came along and resolved them all without much reference to myself. It was amazing! A real credit to the company.Thank you Tim!

Thank you to Abby who made our last minute tenancy change over as seamless and simple as it could have been. We know it normally can take up to 7-10 days to change over a tenant with referencing etc. Abby was always very responsive and kept in touch with me to ensure the process would be dealt with quickly. GoogleThe letting agents at Townsend, at the South Norwood high street branch are very professional and has gone above and beyond to help us out. We recently failed on our references checks on a hot property that was on the market and instead of telling us to be on our way Kia and Gavin ( from South Norwood branch office) has initiated a meeting with the landlord. It went well and were able to move into the property unproblematic within a week. They are very passionate, helpful and supportive. Highly recommended.

GoogleI would like to commend Gavin, Adam, Kea and Paul for their professionalism and excellent customer focus. The branch secured prospective professional tenants for my property a day after my previous tenants moved out, and less then a month the new tenants moved in. They all demonstrated enthusiasm in their roles and always went the extra mile to go way and beyond their duty. Don't bother doing business with Stirling Ackroyd!They would advertise a place at a certain price, take 20 offers on it and then entertain every person who placed an offer to bid against others which will ultimately raise the asking price of the propriety by 20%. They are doing nothing but damaging what is already a difficult real estate market.Communication is extremely poor, they won't keep you in the loop nor inform if your offer was successful or not.To be frank I doubt they are even presenting all the offers to the landlord, they would most likely show off by putting forward only offers way above the asking price. I've been working with other agencies who have made it very clear they would be unable to do any viewings or take offers once a propriety is under offer but Stirling Ackroyd works like no one else on the market and I mean it in the worst possible way.If you are a landlord or a tenant looking for your next successful rental please take your business anywhere else but Stirling Ackroyd.

This is the worst agency I have ever worked with. We are paying full management fees, but everytime there is a problem with our property they do absolutely nothing. I have to chase them constantly for getting the barely minimum done. They have also messed up in accounts in the past. Unresponsive, unprofessional. If you want to let your property, I recommend to stay away from them.
