GooglePurchase fell though 7 months on with sellers dragging their feet. Contracts were issued on month 5. The agent kept dragging the purchase out despite promising the outset their clients were serious and committed. In the end, the sale fell through as our buyer pulled out, not helped by the 7 months of doing nothing.

GoogleWe were very pleased with the service provided by Hubbard Torlot and would highly recommend them when looking to buy a property. We came by Hubbard Torlot after we had a house purchase fall through with another purple bannered Riddlesdown/Sanderstead/Selsdon based estate agent who don't do enough do diligence on the vendors they list properties for. In comparison, dealing with Hubbard Torlot was a breeze. They are cheerful, helpful, always answer emails and the phone and couldn't do enough to help when we had queries with the purchase and were great at pushing the purchase through. My advice when looking to buy or sell a property in the Riddlesdown/Sanderstead/Selsdon area, or anywhere else local is to contact Hubbard Torlot, don't waste your time and money with other local agents.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleWhere to start?! It feels like it has been an eternity but we finally have the keys to our family home! Ian/Elaine initially showed me the house and when we finally had the offer accepted we had to work to a tight deadline. We needed to chase the solicitors/vendor constantly and hats off to Simon for putting up with me hassling him constantly! He was great and incredibly patient. Thanks again for all your hard work and to anyone else thinking about using an estate agent in the local area, I couldn't recommend them enough.

GoogleA great team headed up by Ian & Elaine who became more like part of the family rather than our selling agents. Selling up was scary prospect as the house had been home for 30 years but they helped us through the whole process with regular updates and info; wheedled out the time wasters & concentrated on getting us moving in the right direction. GoogleI'd like to thank the team at Hubbard Torlot, who rose to the occasion, after taking on what appeared to be a fairly straightforward flat sale which then dragged on for 6 months. A special mention for Simon, who was consistently patient and professional throughout the sometimes tricky negotiations. Overall, I was very happy with the way the whole process was conducted (despite early communication issues) and would highly recommend Hubbard Torlot Estate agents.

GoogleShowed me a property for £1.1 million and asked me to make an offer. Said I couldn’t see the property again before making an offer. Doubt that the director has the grasp of the English language. I simply asked to be removed from the list of potential buyers for this attached property and they keeps saying they will remove me from their database. I am a woman and even buying a pair of shoes I might have to try on more than once. Rude, keep calling me to pressure me and frankly I would not give them my money. I have only visited the town once and they are very selfish and pushy. In this buyers market there are so many other choices of people to do business with.

GoogleJust spoke over the phone with an extremely rude man. I was enquiring about a property for sale in stoats nest Road Coulsdon. From the start the estate agent talked over me and at me. He did everything he could to be unhelpful and put me off. This is before I had a chance to speak. In the end I told him that he had done everything to put me off and I was sorry for wasting his time. He said "you have indeed!"
