I cannot recommend Dan and Haboodle highly enough. From start to finish, he provided an exceptionally professional, thorough, and personalised service, guiding us through what was far from a straightforward sale. Our property in Purley came with a number of complex historical boundary issues, multiple stakeholders, and differing views and interests that could easily have derailed the process. Throughout, Dan remained calm, knowledgeable, understanding, and incredibly supportive. He took the time to simplify complicated matters, communicate clearly with all parties, and keep the sale moving forward when many others would have struggled. What sets him apart is not only his expertise and integrity but also his deep understanding of the local and wider market. His advice on pricing was realistic, accurate, and based on genuine market insight rather than simply telling us what we wanted to hear. We chose Haboodle after meeting a couple of other estate agents in Purley and just felt more comfortable with them from the start. Dan was straightforward to deal with. He didn’t overpromise, just gave us honest advice about the Purley market and a clear plan for selling our home. The marketing was premium, the photos made us not want to leave, and the drone video really showed the house at its best, and it definitely helped generate strong interest quickly. What stood out most was how hands-on Dan was throughout. We were kept updated at every stage, and when things got a bit tricky further down the chain, he dealt with it calmly and kept everything moving. Selling isn’t always straightforward, we've been through it a few times, but Haboodle made the whole process feel well-managed from start to finish. We’re really pleased with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. We can’t recommend Dan enough for his hard work and excellent result selling our home - we achieved 5.5% over asking price and higher than we ever expected. He got the pricing strategy spot on, marketed the flat brilliantly, and was attentive to our concerns. Dan’s knowledge also sets him apart. The sale wasn’t without its complexities but Dan took the time to talk me through it all every step of the way. I cannot recommend Haboodle enough. Great people, approachable, friendly, genuine, no hard sell. They transformed my house to look fantastic, found me a lovely lady to stage the house and it made such a difference to show off its real potential. They gave me loads of help and advice at every stage, with zero pressure, but advising me on what changes I could make to the house that would make an impact to a buyer to get a higher price. They let me know about all offers but again without any pressure, and advised me on when he thought offers should probably be rejected. They negotiated a much higher sales price than other agents I’d originally met had predicted. Huge thanks to Dan - such a lovely guy, went absolutely above and beyond in helping me with everything as I was mostly abroad during the whole process. He made everything go so smoothly. I have bought and sold quite a few homes and rental properties and this has been my best experience by a mile.

We sold our house with Haboodle and it was a long process with many bumps along the way, but Dan was excellent in dealing with any issues and quickly found solutions. Half way through the process everyone’s worst nightmare occurred - our buyer pulled out! But Dan reassured us that we would go back on the market and he would give it his full attention. Within a week he found us a new buyer preventing us not to lose out on the house we wanted to buy! Dan was excellent, he was constantly chasing solicitors and estate agents up and down the chain to ensure things were moving as swiftly as possible. We had not heard of Haboodle before we met Dan on an initial viewing and we were hesitant at first to proceed, but I can honestly say I’m thankful we did. Dan was our estate agent as we bought our first home. We greatly appreciated his support as we went through the process. He had clearly gathered detailed information about the house in advance which ensured we quickly had answers, for example when and what building works/alterations that had been made in the past. Dan was like no other estate agent we have dealt with. From the very start he put heart and soul into getting our house on the market and sold. The advice we got on ‘staging’ our home was brilliant. As a result the photos (and video) were of the calibre you’d expect to see in expensive living and home magazines. He personally took charge of the photo and video shoot, helped move furniture and even took recycling out to my car! Dan’s approach is very personal and he was easy to communicate with and made himself available whenever we needed him. When the house was marketed there were several immediate enquiries and when Dan showed the first people around they made an offer there and then at a substantial amount above the initial asking price. This was all down to Dan and his hard work and understanding of the local market. If you want an estate agent you can trust and who will work for you like he’s selling his own property the.
