I did previously leave a good review this was before getting into the property. I have had issues since before moving in and still ongoing issues. I was given a property with a mouldy kitchen, water damaged and damaged drawers that mould is all over. The property wasn't clean, damaged plug sockets, broken tiles the list goes on, I have had to keep chasing haart for someone anyone to get back to me to sort out all these issues to either be ignored or told that they will mark this as urgent to have to chase them again after no response to even simply acknowledge my emails and calls, as well only being given 1 set of keys even though there is 2 tenants then being told I can pay to get the keys cut so that the 2nd tenant can have keys to the property. I would not recommend going with this company especially if your renting.

My experience with Haart Croydon is terrible but in part was my fault to believe that such renowned letting agent would be honest and rent a fit to leave property without a viewing to the place. I am renting a flat in Croydon and when I moved in the flat was full of rat drops. I reported to Haart to what they replied with such uncaring and depreciating tone - We just advertise this property we don’t manage it please contact the landlord! This happened in February and in April landlord still didn’t bothered to solve the issue so I tried a pest control on my own expenses and unfortunately they were only able to do temporary repairs as a permanent solution would involve structural works and would be expensive. I reported to landlord and now I hope she will actually do something this time. The worst part is that UK law does not protect tenant as lawyers/solicitors keeping saying that I cannot leave this unfit to leave property because I would be held accountable to pay rent till the end date of tenancy agreement as it’s a 12 month contract without a break clause. The law says that I cannot leave in an unfit property but the solution is to keeping chasing the landlord to do the repair as if I am her babysitter or I am the one desperate for her favor. I am paying a £1.100 rent on a monthly basis and I pay my taxes so I think law should protect me as a citizen that abides to the law. I do have psoriasis and the situation brought me a serious crisis as every night I need to keep everything away and every morning I need to start my day cleaning after rats that have visited during the night, being the worst the terrible smell in the flat that it’s costing me a small fortune in bleach to disguise it a little. Now I understand people that commit suicide as this has been my main thought in the past 5 months. Apologies for sharing too much but I just want people to stay alert and never fall in renting without a viewing and stay away from Park Lane building in Croydon the building has a serious rat infestation and if the flat has a single point of entry you will experience a living hell. I am really disappointed with Haart and their team from Croydon’s branch. Thank you all and stay safe.

Trash! Called about 100 times trying to view one property and constantly told someone would call back. Lo and behold the property was gone a few days later. Dunno if i Spoke to Sharon, Tracy, Karen, Kathy, Becky. Not sure they all said the same thing in the same tone. Minimum wage cowboys As stated below by a few others its very odd that after days of chasing a property they just seem to vanish with secret viewings taking place while you cant even get a call back. Im very inclined to agree with a few below that this estate agency discriminates against specific races. Its a crying shame with the market being so tough, who needs another stumbling block added by agencies who discriminate and fob you off. I think you’re all in need of some more non bias compliance training or a quick Will Smith. #KickRacismOut Avoid
