GoogleMy experience with Cray and Norton was positive. Archie Cray worked with me from the outset and communicated with my son and I to arrange viewings, as requested. The process was very long from the point of putting the property on the market, to completion. There were points at which I wanted to give up, but Archie quietly encouraged me to take yet one more viewing, which culminated in the final buyer. It is not a seller’s market at the moment. Buyers are aware of this. You need an estate agent who knows how to guide you through, despite the challenges. Archie and the team at Cray and Norton did this for me, even when I doubted that completion would happen.

GoogleCommenced acquisition conveyancing of a property through Cray & Norton.
Good experience with them initially till when the level 3 survey report highlighted damp and electrical safety issues.
During the acquisition price renegotiation, we felt that we could have been treated more professionally and more politely.
In the end, we also lost our interest in the property due to intrusive and disruptive nature of the needed full house rewiring works.
We did not want to view any further properties through them after the latter experience.
Overall, will still recommend Cray & Norton though as they are a reputable estate agency in the Addiscombe area.

Our experience of Cray & Norton over a number of years, in buying, renting and selling has been great because the company acts as a team, is wanting to provide the best service they can for the customer as well as being able to operate well as a local company where reputation is important, as are integrity, expertise, trustworthiness and reliability.
The company has been excellent for us in a market that has been so difficult, so the values above are even more important to us.
From Chloe on the desk - often an important first contact, to Archie, Lucas and Andrea, they have been supportive in everything we’ve requested of them and were excellent in the day-to-day operations, experience on important law and legal elements as well as going the extra mile to get things done for us.
We didn’t always agree, but their reasoning and experience helped us in making them our sole agent all the way through. To Darren for cutting through any crap and being straight with us.
A particular mention to Marcel who starred in helping us on strategy, legal and especially when things got particularly difficult; for his honesty when we needed that extra support, with longer discussions on options and consequences and for his patience with us.
I think our relationship with C&N was successful because we stuck with them and they consistently did everything we asked of them. This is not to say they were perfect, but from experiences of other agents since Gladwell & King, who were pretty difficult to beat along the LAR, we would recommend C&N above everyone else.
