We recently completed on a house purchase via Barnard Marcus, and the process was seamless. From the initial viewing through to picking up the keys, the level of customer service was exemplary. Scot went out of his way to make things easy; accommodating viewings at short notice, responding swiftly on email, putting in regular phone calls to update us, even gently jostling the seller's solicitors along! We felt supported every step of the way and we're grateful to the team for taking the sting out of what can be a very stressful experience. Highly recommended. **Since purchasing with BM, we have used their lettings team to help us find our tenants, and as with the sales process, the lettings process has been exceptional. We dealt mainly with Leon who was just great. He was responsive, pro-active and - most importantly - he played it with a straight bat. We always knew where things stood and we truly felt like he had our best interests at heart. As with the sales team, the lettings team have been exceptional and again, highly recommended!

Pasquale is excellent, unlike other mortgage advisors he'll spend a proper, decent amount of time with you and understand what you need and explains this excellently! Aaliyah was also very good and showed me round 4 properties at speed, and Matt the manager has helped me secure an offer on my top choice so can't be happier! Matt is not like other estate agents it seems, he's honest and fair. Something you don't always come across much in the industry. Sale not yet complete, watch this space for new review once completed.

This was the third time I had dealt with the South Croydon branch of Bernard Marcus (twice for a purchase, once for a sale). Matthew and his team were professional, and Charlotte Williams was running the sale. Charlotte was organised and kept me informed (during the marketing period) of all potential viewings and I appreciated she gave me a heads up and asked for the go-ahead before confirming the appointment. During the legal process, she was also great at chasing both sides and managing the buyer. I appreciated her understanding my favoured method of communication (over email) so I did not have to be concerned about missing calls. Overall very positive review for Charlotte, Matthew and the team.

This branch has poor communication skills and they don't take pride in customer service. The only time they are kissing up to you is the minute you are putting down a deposit so they can get commision or some kind of bonus i bet. First off Jordan is so unprofessional its a joke. The landlord decided not to rent to me and my husband and when we requested our holding deposit back. Jordan told us it was being processed but we did not receive it for another month with much ringing and emailing the branch. Seriously do not work with this branch to rent a home because they seem like they do not have the customers best interest at heart. I feel like they will lie about property information to gain a financial advantage for themselves. Really upset with this experience.
