Its been a lengthy process but we finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel and completed the purchase of our new home on 31st October 2019. I would like to thank the team at Bairstow Eves, Selsdon branch and in particular the very very helpful Sales Manager, Alison. She has been of great help throughout our purchase. Very kind, caring and patient person. I found her to be very attentive in ensuring that we were kept well informed on the progress. Nicki, Alison and Chloe assisted us with our house sale. They are very professional and knowledgable about properties and the selling and buying process. They are really helpful and answered our questions, their communication was excellent throughout the sales process and they responded quickly. We could tell they know what they are doing,. We trusted them 100%, and they are really nice to deal with. Bairstow Eves also has access their other estate agents so you can easily register for buying properties with them and they do all that for you. To Whom It May Concern Concerning the sale of my Inglewood flat. The sale took place over the period from 6th October 2017 to 12th February 2018 (Completion date). I am of the opinion that the reason it took more than 4 months for the sale to be completed was the number of questions (outside the standard ones), for example regarding Ground Rent (which is not applicable to the flats and should have been immediately obvious to the solicitors), and to the extremely tardy responses to these questions, particularly by Concept Property Management Ltd. (who nevertheless charged £390 for a “Management Pack” which had been estimated to be around £190). Also, when requested for information regarding the flat’s cavity wall insulation, Concept took around 3 weeks to inform the solicitors that they were unable to provide the information. I would rate my solicitors as close to average. They got there in the end, but I feel that they could have done much more to push for quicker answers to questions and queries raised by the buyer’s solicitors in order to expedite the sale. In complete contrast to the above, my Estate Agent, Bairstow Eves in Selsdon, was a shining example of the way in which property sales should be conducted. Thanks to the Branch Manager, Ms Nicky Jackson, who was of invaluable help in completing the many forms necessary for the transaction and, particularly, my Case Co-ordinator, Ms Chloe Gledhill, who really did push all parties for results and was mostly responsible for the successful achieving of completion on the agreed date. My strongly held opinion is that had it not been for the frequent pressing of the other parties by Ms Gledhill, the agreed Completion date would have been missed by some time. My gratitude to Bairstow Eves of Selsdon who I unhesitatingly recommend to other sellers. Francis Gration.

The communication is excellent throughout and nothing is too much trouble. They are genuine and work with you to make the process happen as quickly and stress-free as possible. I would highly recommend Bairstow Eves in Selsdon. They know what they are doing, are great to deal with and are heads and shoulders above their competitors. (We have used one other estate agent locally in the past and they weren't good at all. Another also came round to give us a quote and they were lax and unprofessional).

Bairstow Eves were recommended to me by someone who had used them before. I wasn't disappointed. They were situated very close to the property I was selling but I was located elsewhere and couldn't conveniently visit the property. So apart from having an in-depth knowledge of the local market, they were impressively helpful and accommodating is assisting me with all sorts of additional tasks to do with the general upkeep of the house while it was on the market. The overall service went well-beyond what one might expect from a normal agent.
