The other week i lost my hamster in my apartment the property management team were extremely rude and did not evacuate the area. Nibbles is a dangerous beast and they did not appreciate the threat the whole building was under, there is no regarded for the safety of myself or any anyone else. After a sleepless night filled with fear nibbles was found causing carnage underneath the washing machine. I rung back to explain this when i was playing golf with sebastian who had just run me over once i had enjoyed a juicy apple.

We hand delivered a new direct debit form when they increased the rent by £10.00 pound to the branch manger. We were reassured everything is fine and no further information is required from us. So we went to holiday. On our return we received letter saying we didn't paid full rent and had to pay a fine. It took several calls and visit with branch manager to convince we are not at fault and shouldn't pay fine. When we left the property after 6 months they gave negative feedback to our new Letting Agent saying we didn't pay additional £10.00 on time on one occasion. How disorganised, low, and unprofessional! Nearly made us homeless. It was 5 years ago but still annoys me until now. After having a bad experience with another estate agent I got in touch with Bairstowe and Eves to sell my property. I was looking for good service, good communication and as quick of a sale as possible. Bairstowe and Eves offered just that and more. Ian was my main point of contact, he was available whenever I needed to talk to him and he kept me updated of every part of the process. They had secured an offer within three weeks and smoothed out any potential issues along the way, always on hand to offer advice and support. Ian really did go above and beyond and made a potentially stressful process pain free, I really appreciated the time he took to talk to me and offer advice. The whole team was always helpful and supportive including Richard who was really on the ball. The whole sale took just two months to go through. Doug at the east croydon branch is phenomenal. I required a very quick turnaround in letting a new house and he just made it happen. He has a no BS methodology which I really appreciated. Even though he didn't know me at the time he really stuck his neck out for me to ensure we was housed in 2 weeks!! Which is an unbelievable turnaround. I have mixed reviews regarding rest of staff at Bairstow Eves. Some helpful, some not so much. When I called a few times with questions, they seemed unconcerned and unwilling to help, however my experience with Doug outweighs that hence the 5 stars. Ian Vernon and his excellent team excelled at selling our home in Croydon. They came highly recommended by my cousin but we were worried as we had two other estate agents who had not sold our house in the last year, despite promises to the contrary. My wife and I viewed a property in early January as we are expecting our first child, everything went through fine and we both got excepted. However due to some unforeseen circumstances we was unable to move in the property which was a shock to us all. However A gentleman by the name of Jack Moore that works for the East Croydon branch who I must say is a all round wonderful nice guy, not only did Jake make the situation soothing for my wife who is heavily pregnant but he dealt with the situation in a calm and composing mannar ensuring we were dealt with abruptly. Jack could have forgotten about my wife and myself however he made it a priority to ensure we found our dream place. Less than two weeks later thanks to Jakes determinations we are now in our property and most importantly my wife is very happy as we expect out first child. Jake is a wonderful asset to the team at bairstow eves east Croydon and I will be very surprised if he is not promoted withing a couple of years. I have used Bairstow Eves for both buying and selling. In both instances i found them easy to deal with and professional. When selling they managed to get viewing for the property right through Dec/Jan/Feb, the toughest part of the year. Having had to deal with other Estate Agents in the Croydon area, Bairstow Eves would be my first and only call if you wanted to sell in the Croydon area.
