The staff and especially konrad, were helpful, got the viewing sorted quickly, and able to sort everything and in the rental house within a couple of weeks. The area that was confusing, was being congratulated s on having the property but the paperwork hadn't been completed. They need to way until the references and all the paperwork through homelet had been completed. This was an easy process and everything in one place. The other great thing is they do something called One Utility Bill, which is one amount that comes gas, electric, council tax, tv licence and water rates. That means no bills to thing about. OVERALL GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHEN LOOKING FOR A RENTAL.

Marie Colclough is a star. Reported a fault with the gas fire in our rental property, she sorted it directly and without any hassle. Edit, dated after we moved out of property. All staff, especially Laura, Ben and Darcey, helped us in both moving in and out of the property without too much stress. The whole office, Marie included, were always on hand to deal with any enquiries and dealt with repairs immediately. The checkout inspection and inventory was completed the day after we left and they recognised the immaculate condition we left the property in and passed on the landlord's thanks and good wishes. Thank you, we wouldn't hesitate to rent a property via Martin and Co again.

Unfortunately, our experience with Martin & Co has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. When we moved into the property, it was not in a fit or acceptable condition. The house had not been properly cleaned, the flooring was dirty, belongings from previous tenants had been left behind, and there were broken toilet seats and a broken shower. These issues should have been addressed before new tenants were allowed to move in. More recently, we discovered that the property we are currently renting has been sold, something we were never informed of, despite being assured that we would be kept updated on any significant developments. Finding this out independently online was both shocking and distressing. When I contacted the office to query this, the member of staff I spoke to was abrupt, dismissive, and rude, and showed no empathy or willingness to apologise for the lack of communication or the upset caused. Overall, the standard of service, communication, and professionalism we have received has been very poor. I would not recommend Martin & Co based on our experience. Lovely thing to do to people with disabilities just before Christmas. Can’t imagine the further stress and upset this would have caused if we had not found a property to move too.

What can I say about how good this…

What can I say about how good this company is........ Absolutely nothing. They accuse you of stealing property belonging to the landlord despite us proving they had actually removed it themselves but not updated the record. They then state it was going to cost £1250 to repaint the bathroom ceiling because there where black marks around the show cubical. Strangely the landlord had replaced this during our tenancy due to the old shower leaking and the black marks was grout that the plumber had left nothing to do with us and had been emailed to them and acknowledged we have marked your records. Clearly the ceiling was going to be painted with gold at that price. Trying to get your deposit back when you take it to a dispute is an absolute nightmare and despite reassurances from management and directors they still failed to follow the DPS correct process leaving me still out of pocket. I tried putting in a data service request under GDPR and it took them 3 attempts to finally get it right. For a large group of estate agencies as it's not just Martin and co there knowledge has been found wanting.
