We have just completed the sale of a house through Bridgford Crewe branch. Its been a long process due to solicitor delays which meant a lot of intense activity in the final week. The staff at Bridgford's, especially Destiny worked hard to help get the sale through. They earnt their fees and we are very grateful. I would not use a faceless online agency.

I recently had Ryan from Bridgfords Sales and Letting Agents Crewe carry out a valuation on my property and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Ryan was professional, knowledgeable and very approachable throughout the whole process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, talked me through the current market conditions in the area, and provided honest, well-reasoned advice rather than just telling me what I wanted to hear. The valuation felt thorough and well researched, and I never felt under any pressure at any stage. Communication has been great, and the overall experience has been smooth and straightforward from start to finish. From this branch, to the overall ‘countrywide’ who manage end of tenancies, I’ve only had unpleasant, negative encounters. That is if they actually bother to answer their phone or reply to your emails. They only engage if it benefits them. I have been renting for 10 years (two years with this agency) so I know very well what great agent/landlord experiences can be like. This agency enables greedy landlords, and will allow them to increase rent at very short notice, to unreasonably high rates. Six weeks before our tenancy was due to renew, we were told we either had to sign 12 months contract or risk our rent being increased. The worst of all is that they failed to disclose the fact that the landlord lives next door to the property we were renting. Very disappointing experience.

It was about six months ago that my wife and I started looking for our first home. We found one with Bridgfords. Going into the branch and setting up all the financial details was done very quickly and much easier than I expected. Everything proceeded very quickly after that. Unfortunately, the house we liked turned out not to be for us and we had to withdraw from the sale. Staff were very understanding when we explained our issues. We restarted our search, and coincidentally a few of the houses we viewed were with Bridgfords. Staff were always knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. When we attended a viewing with lots of other people, Ellie was always moving around making sure she was there for everyone and somehow managed to give everyone her full attention. At another viewing, we were one name on a long list of other hopefuls, but we were never made to feel that way. Ellie showed us around and chatted with us, and although we knew viewing time was limited we were never made to feel rushed. After that viewing, we made an offer and didn’t really have much contact with Bridgfords, they just did their thing in the background. Between them, the mortgage company and the solicitor, everything was sorted very smoothly and we just slotted in at the end. Today, we completed and picked up the keys. They were all lovely and we had a little chat, it was nice little moment to round off the experience. So, a big thank you to everyone at Brigfords for being with us on our house buying adventure.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! I would not even give 1 star 0 stars if possible. Bridgfords Crewe has been nothing short of a nightmare for me as a landlord. They pushed a nightmare tenant on me, despite my clear discomfort, assuring me it would be fine. It’s now been 9 long months, and I have not seen a single penny of rent. This tenant has been nothing but trouble, and Bridgfords has utterly failed to manage the situation. Their so-called "fully managed service" is a joke. Any time I try to get answers, I’m stonewalled and passed up the chain, with each person passing the buck and offering no real solutions. Bridgfords Crewe has proven themselves to be utterly unprofessional, incompetent, and unwilling to take responsibility for their poor decisions and mismanagement. I feel completely abandoned and taken advantage of, left to clean up the mess they created. If you’re considering Bridgfords Crewe to FIND YOU A TENANT for your property, think again! They’ll force you into leasing to untrustworthy tenants and provide no support when things go wrong. Avoid them at all cost!

AVOID DEALING WITH THIS ESTATE AGENT IF YOU’RE PURCHASING A PROPERTY. TOTAL NIGHTMARE!! My experience with Bridgford Crewe has been nothing short of a nightmare. I initially dealt with Hannah, the sales negotiator, who wasted my time after I placed the highest offer on a property that was accepted. She repeatedly failed to respond to my calls or emails, dragging the process out and seemingly stalling to get more money for the property. When I then had to deal with Oliver, things went from bad to worse. He was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and clearly in need of serious training on how to handle clients. It’s shocking that this branch can operate with such disregard for people giving them business. I would strongly advise stay away from Bridgford Crewe if you’re looking to buy a home. Total waste of time and utterly frustrating.
