Walmsley's have sold two houses for me this year...Both sales have gone very swiftly and smoothly and the price they achieved was fantastic - especially considering the current financial climate. Communication at all stages of the process has been brilliant and their sale progression on my behalf has been superb. Having been in the property industry myself i am aware how badly things can go wrong and my experiences withg other estate agents make me even more satisfied - i couldn't be more pleased and can wholeheartedly recommend anyone considering selling their house to use Mark and the team.

They seemed to realise that it was not just our house that they were selling but our home of 25 years. A lot of positive reviews, however, our experience with Mark was disappointing. He came across well initially, but as things progressed, we felt he wasn't being truthful. We later discovered that we were lied to about the seller’s position, during our initial viewing we were told that we would need to be patient with the sellers but at the point of presenting our offer only a week later we were told they had already found a property and they needed to move quickly, when in fact they hadn’t. More concerningly, our offers and keen interest was not presented to the sellers, despite our offer being higher than the offer made by the buyers Mark put forward, who later pulled out months down the line.

Mark was brilliant. We weren’t sure how to approach buying and selling ..buy first, sell first? What do we do!? Mark talked us through it. When we found somewhere to buy, he got us on the market ASAP and sold our house within the day. We had a very positive experience buying with Mark and his team. Total integrity and honesty, no pressure or pushing in anyway, they let us meet the owners, view the house independently and ask questions with no problem (not all agents do this). Most importantly, once the sale was agreed, there was a dedicated person you could follow up with and get answers on progress. My partner and I used their wonderful services to purchase our first house! all the staff were always super helpful and kind: never made us feel silly no matter how bizarre our questions were. We instantly got a good vibe off Mark the founder when he was showing us round our now-home, very friendly and warm. If we had a question he didn't know the answer to, he was honest and said he'd get back to us as soon as he knew (which was a very refreshing experience due to previous issues with an unnamed estate agent trying to blag their way through a house tour). interactions with everyone on the team (shoutout to chris especially!) was equally lovely. you can tell they're passionate about wanting all parties to succeed. i can't speak for how it is on the seller's side (though I assume just as lovely), but i would 100% use their services again if/ when the opportunity arose. definitely recommend their services to everyone. moving out for the first time is always scary, but they made us feel secure and comfortable at every step.

Walmsley's is the pioneer of what an estate agent ought to operate now in the 21st Century ! Buying and selling a property is the 2nd most stressful thing to do in one's life. From day one of meeting Mark to the end we felt at ease. We were advised to get 3 different estate agents by our well meaning friends. We did not do that. Walmsley's is a local estate agent who are in tune with the local market. Our sales progression Clare /Claire was tenacious, looking after our best interest. Walmsleys sold my house at a difficult time with a chain with some interesting characters to say the least. Because I work so much it was perfect that I was able to arrange things with Mark by WhatsApp most of the time. He was so responsive and available. After the sale was agreed Clare took over and I am confident the move only went ahead with her tenacity and persistence. One of the things I really loved about selling through Walmsleys was that I felt both Mark and Clare were genuinely focused on what the best thing for me and took a personal interest in the sale. Mark and Clare (sales progression) were a dream team when I recently sold through them. Both are friendly and down to earth whilst being extremely professional. There were definitely a few challenges in the chain and I am confident my wife and I are only settled in our new home due to their efforts. There were a couple of things that really worked for me. One is that both Mark and Clare were genuinely interested in what was best for me and worked their communication around my working hours. The other was that as Clare is legally trained she was more respected by the purchasers and the solicitors were able to work with her without any confusion. Definitely recommend
