Strakers successfully sold my small 'quirky' terrace house in a tricky market for a good price. Although this wasn't a big sale for them, I felt I was treated just as well as if I had been selling a much more expensive property. The main advantage was that they had a local office, knew the market well, and were able (and willing) to get out to the property at very short notice when access was necessary. The only reason I have not given them 5 stars is because I was a bit disappointed in the first set of pictures they took of the property - they didn't show its best features. However, they willingly took another set which were much better. Perhaps 4.5 stars would be fairer! I would definitely recommend them.

Brough a house in july. The service is not good compare to other agents i have used. I called the day the compilation was done and not even a congratulations. As this was a buy to let property I asked the agent if they can post me the spare key they had. The agent did post.it with the letter head and nothing was on their. I didn't know who to contact and the staff are pretty rude. once you place a offer they don't care.

Excellent service through out a long winded sale. Strakers have helped me with a house sale that took a long time to go through even though there was no chain. Their additional conveyancing service department are worth their weight in gold and I am so grateful for the daily at times updates and chasing of the buyers solicitors.Thank you Strakers. I would definitely recommend this agent as they are the biggest in Devizes and have a large share of the sales for the town. They have great resources to help their clients get good results when selling and buying.

Having been looking for a property to rent for a little while and getting no where, we found one listed with Strakers. The whole process was so simple and straight forward. The staff are wonderful and helpful to deal with they made a stressful situation more of a breeze can not recommend them highly enough especially the lettings manager Nick, brilliant service!

Although the initial selling price suggested turned out to be optimistic, we were kept fully informed throughout the entire process eg when viewers were expected and what feedback was given. Once an offer had been accepted they worked very closely with our solicitors, the purchaser and with us to ensure the sale went smoothly. Staff were efficient, often working late into the evening, and very kind. I don't think they could have done anything better.

GoogleFantastic service. Asked 3 local estate agents to value property initially. Matt from Strakers was obvious choice immediately. Friendly but professional. Knows his stuff & straight talking. Throughout the sale any problems were dealt with quickly & calmly. George from the progression team was brilliant. Everyone liaised & did everything in their power to make it as easy as possible. I have bought & sold several houses over the years & never had such fantastic service.

GoogleI wouldn't even give this agent 1 star. Terrible customer service. An unkempt looking man who, we were very surprised to find out later, was a director showed us around a property and was very bullish and rude. He insinuated that my wife was stupid for not wanting to purchase the property there and then. The property was frankly a bit of a hole. Kept boasting about his Mercedes and led us to the conclusion that he was a bit of a prat.

I may have dealt with the whole team over the course of the years (!) but found them all to be particularly helpful, professional and understanding. Strakers give direct and helpful comments when valuing and are realistic about valuations. Inflated valuations are not helpful in the end. Out of the initial flush of viewings we received a good offer. Strakers liaise well with clients and buyers. They also provide an ongoing series of updates to keep clients informed about progress of the sale - a valuable source of reassurance!A friendly, professional and hard-working team.

whilst they did what i wanted and sold my property there were a few things along the way that i was not informed correctly about and the `chaser` was superfluous to the operation, not adding anything to the process but i guess they are there to ensure the agents fees not for the clients benefit. on balance id use an online service if i did it again...agents are pricey for what they really offer

Strakers were really hard working and professional right throughout the sale of our house and purchase of our new home. They quickly got us good offers and even though there were some bumps with our chain, when our house had to be remarketed, they quickly got us another buyer. At the end of the process they worked extremely hard to help the sale and purchase to go through. I’d definitely recommend them (I already have).
