GoogleI originally viewed a house last October, which fell through in May, Bethany was fantastic at arranging a viewing in a new property, which I have now completed, and has been there every step of the way. The Parkes and Pearn team are friendly, accommodating, patient, knowledgeable & helpful! I will definitely be using them again when it comes time to update/sell. I could not recommend anyone better for the job!

GoogleSimply the best! Parkes and Pearn were totally professional all of the way through a difficult sale (due to issues with the chain below). Bethany, Joel and Simon were all involved at various points. All gave reassurance when needed and excellent advice also. We are convinced that without their hard work and expertise, we would not have achieved either the sale or the price reached. If we were ever selling in Liskeard again, we wouldn't use anyone else. And such nice people!

GoogleI couldn't recommend Parkes and Pearn more, especially Bethany who is always so friendly and happy to help and a credit to the team. From the valuation to completion, from selling to buying, although it's been a long process with a few delays (none of which was P&Ps fault) I was kept updated all the way and felt at ease that it was all in hand. I would without a doubt use them again. Thank you Bethany for making this stressful time a lot easier.

Simon was wonderful and made every step of the purchase of our house as smooth as possible from the initial viewing to completion and moving in. His professionalism, communication and quick responses were all outstanding - particularly in a challenging and very busy time. A huge thank you! Also thanks to Joel who also supported us and gave us great advice on the actual moving day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Parkes and Pearn and have already done so.

GoogleSimon was professional and his communications skills are very good. Simon was recommended to us and he had sold the client's last two houses within the first week. Simon did the same for us. Simon vetted the prospective buyers to make sure we had people who were in a position to proceed. Simon kept in regular contact with us and the buyers solicitors to push the sale along. Thanks Simon! GoogleParkes and Pearn acted for the vendors of the property I purchased in Liskeard. Although not their direct client, they kept me informed throughout and chased up the chain. They were far more proactive than the 'chain' estate agents who acted for my house sale - I found out information from Parkes and Pearn that should have come from my own agents! Enquiries were quickly answered and cover provided when my lead contact was on leave. I will certainly choose a local estate agent firm in future, rather than the branch of a chain.

GoogleI can’t recommend parkes & Pearn enough! Especially Simon! We started our journey at the beginning of the year looking for our first family home to buy, we had an offer accepted which later unfortunately fell through. We then contacted Simon a couple of months later and asked him if he could show us around a few other houses they had on the market, to which we found the house we’ve just brought. Simon was patient, answering any questions we had to ask & let us take as much time as we needed to have a look around. During the whole process, Simon was always on hand to answer any questions or to chase any enquiries we had. From start to finish everything was 5*! Thank you for making the whole experience a breeze. Would highly recommend Parkes & Pearn & will be sure to use them again in the future!

GoogleI’ve just sold my house and completed with Parkes & Pearn and couldn’t fault them at all. They know the value of looking after their client and that’s exactly what they did for me during what was a very complicated sale and lengthy process. They guided me through what I needed to do when the various surveys needed to be done. When I asked them to chase the chain they did so without any hesitation or delay. Simon and Bethany were both professional and courteous at all times, as well as being approachable and friendly, they really did seem to understand how testing selling a house can be. GoogleParkes and Pearn are a professional, friendly, approachable local estate agents who care and understand about their clients requirements. After having issues previously with a larger Southwest agency in Liskeard, it was nice to feel valued and listened to, which made the whole experience less daunting. Our sale was managed really well from start to finish and even though it fell through a couple of times, Simon, Beth, Joel and the team were straight back on to marketing the property. My buyer also had great communication from them and knew exactly what was happening at all times. I would definitely recommend Parkes and Pearn whether you are buying or selling.

GoogleWe were looking for a property in Liskeard in order to live closer to our son and his family, so went to register our interest. with all the estate agents. We knew there wasn't much available at our particular price point, but frankly, some agents made us feel we were a nuisance. Our last call, by now feeling tired and a bit disheartened was to Parkes and Pearn. Joel made us feel welcome and while he had nothing suitable currently available, he engaged with our requirements and gave us excellent useful advice. That advice was significant in helping us move forward.

GoogleSimon Terrell and his team at Parkes and Pearn have many attributes that define them, and among them I would include words like quality, professionalism, and excellent market knowledge. Simon’s quality culture is reflected in his team. They are immensely polite and respectful at all times. When Simon valued my house, he placed a guide price on it way above anything I would have imagined possible. But he knew what he was doing. Within three weeks I had two offers including one at the guide price. Simon’s assistant Joel who did the photography showed my house in its best light, but without exaggerating it. I have worked in several countries in the EU for many years, including working for large organisations where quality is expected always, such as IBM and KPMG, and professionalism is something instantly recognisable. Simon Terrell and his team at Parkes and Pearn have it, and I am immensely grateful to them. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

GoogleI cannot rate this Agency highly enough. I was the buyer in this transaction and found them to be highly professional and first class in terms of communication and knowledge. Emails were answered quickly and there was always someone at the end of the line (very unusual in these times). Joel Mitchell in particular was an absolute star. The transaction wasn't straightforward at times and he kept everything and everyone together with his calm and helpful manner. 100% recommend this Estate Agency to anyone looking to sell in Liskeard and the surrounding areas.

Googlecould not recommend Simon and Joel from Parks & Pearn enough. they have managed two recent house sales for us and went above and beyond on numerous occasions to keep our chain together and ensure the sales completed. they always picked up the phone, answered emails, did what they said they were going to do... and even let me sit in their office and listened to my frustrations on numerous occasions (that were nothing to do with them!). we had problems due to solicitors further up the chain which held up our sale, which in the end didn't complete for 6 months. Joel was great at keeping us and our buyers informed, and really did do all he could to resolve the issues which at the end of the day were another estate agents responsibility. honestly, scrap all the stereotypes associated with estate agents. these guys are lovely people, honest and fair and are great at what they do.

GoogleI would highly recommend Parkes and Pearne. I felt that we had a personalised service tailored to our needs. We used Parkes and Pearne to sell our property and nothing was too much trouble. Simon kept us fully updated all the way through with regular calls and his knowledge and experience was invaluable to us who were first time sellers. Simon and the team also helped us chase solicitors and even liaised with our buying agent. I think without the support of Simon and the team the process would have been more stressful and difficult and I can’t thank them enough. Thank you to all of you! Your service was impeccable and worth every penny.

GoogleOutstanding estate agents. Recently purchased house through Parkes & Pearn. Fantastic service - Joel Mitchell was brilliant. Very friendly and hard working. Answered phone calls/emails promptly. I had a few problems with my own buyer and Joel kept it all moving and was very supportive. When he was out of office Simon was also very helpful and supportive. I also have to mention 2 ladies in office - always kind, polite and efficient. Great team. Overall highly recommended and I thank you all so much for your help. I would not hesitate to use them again myself.

We then dealt with Simon the whole way through. Simon provided us with a service second to none, with exceptional customer service, keeping us in the loop the whole time, quick to respond to our many emails & phone calls. He was extremely supportive and patient during our occasionally arduous journey, he really did go above and beyond with his determination to get the purchase of our dream home across the line within our time frame, for which we’re extremely grateful, thank you!!
