They had some changes in the team, so we had our ups and downs but since Sylwia Chlopek (property manager) joined the team the experience is always very positive. Great communication, never leaves you hanging and super professional.

Professional, Straightforward & very ResponsiveAs buyers, we were impressed that Jackson-Stops Barnstaple were, unfailingly, all of the above. They struck a great and hard to strike balance of working for us as buyers and their original client, the vendors. We made it clear that we had a looming stamp duty deadline and they clearly worked hard to help us meet it. I can't rate Jackson-Stops Barnstaple enough. From the initial visit through to the completion, James & Ria were so professional (something that is often lost in these times). Our sale was of a non-standard property and I was worried that we would waste a lot of time but they vetted viewings perfectly. Their communication of viewings, offers, negotiations and the progressing of the legal side was outstanding. We sold "the village in a village" within 3 weeks and completion within a further 15, with Covid-19 and stamp duty pressures adding to the process. This is the first property sale I've ever had (and there have been a few!) where I actually believed the estate agents were working on my behalf. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment Alan King came and did the valuation, which was spot on, of my home Jackson-Stops got it right. All the team members involved came and looked round the house and the surrounding communal grounds, swimming pool and tennis courts, so as to give the best viewing possible to potential buyers. It took a week to sell my house and my buyers at the time were not even on the market but sold their house within 24 hours of making an offer on mine, also through Jackson-Stops. Chris was in touch regularly with updates and sorted out queries with all parties. We complete next week.

We live in the USA and initially rented our house in the UK through Jackson-Stops: we were delighted with their service in terms of professionalism, responsiveness, experience and level of expertise. However, with the pandemic affecting operations at so many levels, we decided for the fourth year of the rental to manage the property on our own. By the end of that year, we found ourselves in a difficult situation with our tenants once notice had been served. Despite having no obligation to help us, Paula, our initial letting agent, very kindly offered us some excellent advice on how to handle matters and then went on to facilitate the tenants' handover back to us without further upset. I couldn't have been more pleased with the way the matter was handled and would wholeheartedly recommend Paula and Jackson-Stops as straightforward, straight-speaking agents in whom you can safely place your trust.

Fantastic service, simple process from start to finish. Lottie and the team were fantastic in both the sale and purchase of our new and old home. The purchase was not a straight forward due to complications with the new property but the communication between ourselves and the sellers were second to none!I would also like to note that the selling process was a piece of cake and with only a handful of selected and qualified prospects we had 4 viewings and two asking price offers in just 5 days. We recently purchased a property through Jackson-Stop and Neil was our broker on this particular sale. Throughout the process, Neil was communicative, responsive and always made us feel like we were a priority. Managing a sale between seller and buyer can often be challenging, but Neil has a flair for meeting the needs of all parties and keeping everyone focused on reaching the best possible outcome. Having experienced the worst of estate agency (many times !) it was a pleasure to experience the best for a change. The old saying of you get what you pay for is certainly true - except the terms agreed with Jackson-Stops were very reasonable for what you get.From the outset, dealing with Neil and the team at Woburn was very professional and reassuring and you knew you were in the hands of people who were very experienced and knew what they were about. Having secured the sale we had been yearning several years for we then saw the real value of dealing with people who you can trust which is the very stressful post sale progression through to exchange of contracts.I highly recommend Jackson-Stops at Woburn.

Having been ignored by the previous agents handling my property (a 'high value', high street stalwart) I was a little apprehensive about joining a new agency. I needn't have been: Mandy and the team at J-S Cranbrook were fantastic from start to finish. The communication was outstanding with regular updates and feedback. In May 2020 we found our perfect house to realise our dream to relocate from Essex to Devon. Luckily for us, the property was on the market with Richard Addington and his team in Exeter. Whilst it may seem unusual for a purchaser to write a review their handling of this sale, that finally completed in early January 2021, would have been unlikely to have concluded without the team. An absent vendor living in Asia made the transaction a little bit more complicated on top of the COVID restriction placed on us all. Richard communicated regularly and arranged access for surveys swiftly and effectively. He managed time zones and communication within the short, but at times complex chain with ease. To summerise, Richard and his team are highly-capable with a wealth of experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to my family and friends.

Jane Bishop was wonderful throughout this difficult process (the sale of my late mother's house during lock down presenting both emotional and practical issues). She was easy to approach, she was quick to respond to messages, she went above and beyond in helping: for instance, she ensured that an agent went to the house weekly (even if there was not a viewing) to check on it for insurance purposes as it was an empty house. She facilitated the removal of some contents to local charities. And the house sale went through smoothly from one of the early viewings, achieving the asking price. Jane was exemplary throughout, and did not relinquish her attention to detail even after the house was under offer.

We have moved around a lot and dealt with some of the worst people in this industry. But as a new tenant and having the little things ironed out and fixed as soon as humanly possible, Lesley Coppack has been absolutely outstanding. We are not sure if this is a function of not being in inner city London or what, but I don't want that to detract from Lesley's speed of service and all around competence to do a stellar job. Honestly, my wife and I cannot sing her praises enough
