Throughout the sale of my aunts property, Joel was on hand to support, we had mould treated, double glazing in the conservatory replaced, fence panel replaced, new locks on the garage and internally he helped with a house clean once all the furniture was removed in preparation for the new owners. He guided us through the property market value changes and was generally a nice guy. Having used Richard’s when selling and buying a few times in the last 20 years this time we were selling and disappointed with the lack of communication throughout the process, it was non existent. our buyers not making us aware of their situation until we were ready to exchange and they were not despite purchase 6 weeks before we found our new home, so it was the last thing we expected. We have been deceived by this agency and paid the consequences of trusting them. They advertised a property for rent as a “long term rent” knowing that the landlords would come back in about a year. This has been confirmed by the landlords themselves, also by the neighbours (landlord’s friends). We organised our life around the fact we trusted them, we ended up having to move in about 6 months because we never felt home, knowing that the landlords would come back. It’s the worst agency we have ever used, don’t trust them.

A little disappointed to find the flat I viewed on Tuesday has a “Let Agreed” on and taken down from Rightmove without a word or courtesy email/call to say I wasn’t considered as a tenant. I get there is VERY high demand in rentals but what’s even more disheartening and deflating for potential tenants is not only the immense competition out there against other potentials, but the viewing, putting interest forward and completing forms is all time consuming to then find it’s been taken down without letting those that viewed know first :(
