We had a really positive experience letting our property with the Zoe at ReedsRains. From the initial meeting through to completion, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Communication was excellent, we were kept updated at every stage and any questions were answered quickly. What stood out most was how proactive Zoe is in keeping things moving, and her knowledge of all the changes in the landlords regulations which made the whole process much easier. The valuation was accurate, and the marketing of the property was excellent, leading to a good level of interest. Overall, I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking to let their property. It was a very special and rewarding experience with Rain Reeds for me and my family when we decided to make a purchase of a property in the UK as our home. When we first approached Rain Reeds in Congleton, we were kindly greeted by Callum and after he understood the range of budget we had in mind, he shared with us a few very relevant options and also took extra effort to identify and print out many useful research information to give us as reference. I could imagine that if I were a seller I would be very pleased of his effort to show case my property entrusted to him to find sincere buyers. As a buyer, I felt welcomed and supported, and also Rain Reeds was resourceful for supporting my search for the ideal property. In the process of more than half a year, not a surprise that we encountered many unexpected and challenging situations that were outside of Rain Reeds’ influence. Callum gave his best efforts to coordinate with different parties, put things in perspective, maintain positivity for all involved, in order to move things forward. Callum also worked with his colleagues as a team to support the whole process. We appreciated Caroline’s follow up whenever Callum was occupied or on leave, and working along side with Callum to cross all the t’s and dot all the i’s for critical details, large and small. After the sudden loss of my Dad in May, I had a property to sell. I was also completely overwhelmed with the responsibility that came with being an executor. Having worked with Tim almost 10 years ago, I knew he would be able to take the stress away for me. I gave no other agents any thought or consideration. Once probate was granted, I dropped the keys off with Tim & left the house in his safe hands. I took his trusted advice on the price & the approach to viewings. Within hours of the house being marketed, back to back viewings were being booked in. I didn’t want the personal pressure of viewings, so I opted for accompanied viewings by Vic their viewing representative. I know Vic too & he takes time to familiarise himself with each property. Offers then came in quickly. Caroline & Callum put forward the offers & we talked through the price & proceedabiity of each one. A decision was then made to cease viewings on the property. The accepted offer was qualified before the property was marked SSTC. I then had regular updates with the progress of the sale from Caroline & Callum. Walked in and two assistants on the phone I waited patiently and the gentleman came off the phone never looked up never acknowledged my presence and made another call . To say it was rude is an understatement. No wonder Chris Harmridings is the best estate agent . Another sale lost Reeds Rains . Awful assistant clearly in the wrong job

Great photography, price matched with a better rate, friendly staff. Upon valuation Tim was informative, friendly and realistic on pricing - sold within a month at sale price. Caroline and Callum are very friendly and efficient. The only reason they didn’t get 5-stars is because they recommended an awful solicitor company (I won’t name) to the buyers of our property. The buyers of our property were very frustrated and the simple process of a cash sale with no forward or backward chain took a ridiculous amount of time due to the recommended solicitors which were used. So I would recommend Reeds Raines, but I wouldn’t recommend the solicitor company they recommend.

We initially chose Reeds Rains Congleton to sell our house as we were impressed with Tim, Branch Manager, and being part of a larger nationwide agency, we felt, was beneficial. Thereafter, we have mainly liaised with Senior Negotiator Caroline at the branch. Caroline is incredibly dedicated, ultra-professional and experienced and has supported us through the rollercoaster journey that makes house selling such a notoriously stressful process, particularly in the current challenging market. Due to external factors, we have suffered a couple of collapsed chains, not uncommon but still very upsetting, yet through it all, we knew the one person we could count on was Caroline. Even more than her expert and steady navigation throughout the ups and downs, we have especially valued her calm and empathic manner and just as importantly, so have our potential viewers/buyers who have often complimented her when commenting on their own dealings with the Congleton branch. Her listening and negotiation skills are first class. She has kept us going on many an occasion and one of her favourite sayings is 'it's another iron in the fire.' And indeed so it has turned out, with an iron in the fire turning into a proceedable sale for us. Chloe in particular was very helpful and always taking my many phone calls, despite the fact that she wasn’t very well and working from home due to the COVID-19 vaccination. Stacie was incredible at dealing with a stressful situation for us. We had an issue trying to find a removals firm at the last minute. Rather than leave us to it, she proactively came up with a solution. We will forever be grateful for how Reeds Rains and Stacie in particular went the extra mile to ensure our move went ahead. I would definitely recommend the company if you are buying or selling.
