Great hassle free service

I have a rental property with Central Housing for well over a decade now and am going to stay with them for the foreseeable future as it's the most hassle free and peace of mind way to rent the property. There is a fantastic team in the background, managing the property and looking after the condition of the property, and they have their own contractors whom they use for all aspects of repairs needed which are generally more cost effective than going private. Whilst the rent received may be a little below market rates, once you have saved your monthly agents commission, the cost of having the property sitting empty at odd periods and all the other time and effort spent on preparing new tenancies, check-ins, check-outs etc. it's quite simply a no-brainer. Well done Romesh, Jo, Maria and all for providing a great hassle free rental service.

Central Housing Group is a fantastic company run by professionals.

I met Romesh, the co-founder of Central Housing Group over 12 ago when I first decided to rent my property. From the day we surveyed the house, I knew my property would be in good hands. I have been using the Central Housing Group for over 12 years now and the service that I have received is amazing and consistently professional. My property has been kept in excellent condition and I frequently receive updates and photos of the property. When repairs are needed, Central Housing would get in touch promptly and provide advice on how to move forward and offer their trusted maintenance contacts. So far, most of the people I have used have done an excellent job and the work has been very cost effective and payments from the Group is always prompt. Every couple of years the property is redecorated and is maintained to a high standard. Throughout the years I have also frequently been in contact with Joanna, who continues to deliver prompt feedback with all of the necessary details if a problem ever arises. Excellent Service. Takes all the stress out of letting your property.

I have been using Central Housing Group to let out my properties for well over 10 years. As a Landlord you do receive slightly less rent than what is considered to be the full market rental value of your property, BUT Rom and his team have provided me with a fully comprehensive and professional service that has taken all of the stress out of managing property / dealing with tenants, allowing me to get on with my day time job. The services provided includes all of the legal and regulatory requirements, as well as doing inspections and responding to all repair and maintenance issues. As a landlord you have to factor in ongoing costs eg maintenance / repairs. In my experience, the team of contractors at Rom's disposal have always been able to provide quick, efficient and cost effective works, whilst they have arranged all of the access requirements too. CHG still gives you the choice should you want to use your own contractor. If you have a property that you want to rent out, and still want to enjoy any spare time that you may have, then I would thoroughly recommend CHG and the services that they provide.

Writing this testimonial gives me an opportunity to try to express my sincere gratitude for exemplary service and efficiency that CHG provide. No matter if you are dealing with Romesh, David or all their staff such as Helga, there is always care and attention in all that they do which other peers in the same field struggle with. In my point of view, the standard that CHG provide is of the highest degree, and from experience, know that others do not have the same desire and passion to deliver. CHG should be an example to others. Their client service is a number 1 priority, and this supplemented with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Also, invoices are advised in advance of payment which are very clear, and payment is always on time. There are numerous ‎examples that I can give, but the most significant was when I had my inital meeting with Romesh in late Jan'13 and then this was followed with having my property being rented through CHG by mid March'13. Romesh had met me at the property and took the time necessary answering my numerous questions, and what I needed in order to have the property rented within 6 weeks. He was spot on. He shared a range of local area contacts that helped me deliver ahead of time and this ensured that I did not waste any time in gaining income. Also, Romesh was always available to provide advice and would often meet at the property throughout the process to ensure target date met. To Romesh and The Central Housing Group Team Further to our recent communication I am glad to extend our current contract for a further period of 24 months and would like to thank your team for the service provided with professional efficiency for the past 9 years. I have been with Central Housing Group since May 2007 and have found your team full of professionalism and friendliness since Romesh first came to view our property for rent. I first met Romesh who came across as very approachable and friendly and trustworthy. He was very honest with me. His advice on what rental we could achieve and what needed to be provided in the property to fulfil legislation and regulations to make it ready for public sector rental. Romesh organised all furniture and kitchen items to be purchased and delivered to the property and the property was let almost immediately. I could not believe how he made the whole business so easy and stress free for me. He arranged for all the inspections, alterations etc and since then the property has been fully managed by Central Housing Group. In our 9/10 year relationship I have not had to visit the property even once. That says volumes of the service and expertise provided by CHG. We continue to have a very good and honest relationship with Central Housing Group which I find very fruitful and stress free. If any work or inspection is needed on the property we are notified and the said work organised by CHG to be carried out immediately. The rent is paid promptly direct into my bank account on the 5th of every month and I don’t have to worry about the occupancy factor as it is guaranteed by CHG. Excellent service from trustworthy property company

It gives me great pleasure to have the opportunity to write a testimonial for Central Housing Group Limited. Together with a friend, in 2000 I acquired an investment property which was to be my first experience of property letting. We got off to a difficult start with the company which was originally managing the letting, but after much complaining and a bit of luck, we found an alternative company, Central Housing Group Ltd, which took over the handling of our property and things settled down. My friend and I went on to purchase another two investment properties, both of which we handed over to Central Housing for renting out and, later, with my husband, son and daughter-in-law, I purchased a further investment property which, again, we asked Central Housing to handle for us. They are still managing these lettings for us. Romesh, David and their team are a very tight and efficient unit. I always feel comfortable contacting them if I have any queries or concerns, which they invariably deal with promptly and efficiently. They do not allow matters to slip, i.e. repairs or replacements that need to be dealt with, and when site matters have been raised with me (in the case of leasehold properties) by the management companies, they never fail to deal with them promptly on my behalf. All the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful and there has never been a time when I felt that I did not matter to them. When I hear of the letting horror stories of other people, I am very pleased that fate took me to Tottenham/Wood Green (where Central Housing Group was originally situated) all those years ago. I hope that my family and I will continue to be associated with Central Housing Group for many more years to come. Only been dealing with Romesh and his team since November 15 but am so happy that I choose them. I have a few properties and one was due for renewal that had been with another Housing Association for many years, Ihad decided to look for a new company as I had over the last couple of years been unhappy with how it had been managed (or not as was the case), I called in local agents as I knew that the rents would be higher and a couple of Housing Associations. My choice was Central Housing as the Local Agents were purely driven by the amount of money they could get me and commission to be earnt , Romesh was so very thorough on inspecting my property and although I had done a refurb ie new Kitchen and Bathroom he found many minor things that had to be dealt with and it was agreed that his own Maintenance guys would do it (at a price agreed between us which I know would have cost me more if I brought my own people in ) What stands out is his knowledge as he worked in Councils for many years dealing with Housing and then opened his own Company and brought that with him and it is a winning formula. There was a slight issue with my Boiler losing pressure and Helga from his office called and I said my plumber was not around she sent one of their own people who was in the area to have a quick look , They were able to repressurise it which gave Tenant heat and water until my plumber could get there. A very satisfied customer

I have been very satisfied with the services of the team at Central Housing Group since I appointed them to manage my property in 2004. Payments have always been extremely prompt and having a guaranteed rent means that I have not had to worry about my monthly mortgage payments being covered. I’ve been with the Central Housing Group for just over 12 years and my property has been rented out through CHG with the rent paid regularly, on time and I’ve never had a missed payment. I’ve never had to worry about chasing tenants, or any damage caused, or having to make sure that the property is kept in the condition I expect it to be. All insurances, certificates are up to date and all reminders are given nice and early “what else could a landlord want”. I’m notified of any issues promptly and given the chance to deal with it myself or use their own maintenance team as part of a fully managed service. If I do get a call from Jo (who is always polite and friendly), about any repairs needed, I know that I can trust them to deal with any issues quickly and by their highly competent maintenance team who go about their work in a professional manner and their costs are more than competitive. I have been using Central Housing Group as a landlord for approximately 10 years, and have found their service excellent. They demand high standards in respect of properties they take on, but I have found that it pays dividends in the long run. Their payments system runs like clockwork, and on time. I find all their staff and directors very professional, and they inspect all properties on a monthly basis, which helps to nip any problems in the bub. They seem to have very little turnover in staff, which makes dealing with them a pleasure, even if it’s to authorise repairs.!!! If I had to choose 3 words to describe Central Housing Group, they would be Integrity, Experience and Efficiency.

Our Asset in Good Hands

I appreciate the services Central Housing Provides for me. In the last 11 years I have left my property in the hands of Central Housing and been OK that it was well looked after, so I didn't need to run around looking for someone to do repairs, or even remember when certain services were required and the safety checks are always up to date for the flat.
