We appointed George Duff from Savills Cobham to arrange a high-profile three month short let over the summer for our large country mansion. We tried to let it out ourselves via AirBnB and other portals without any luck. Thanks to Savills premium client base we managed to find the perfect tenant over the summer rather than many holiday guests. We were very pleased with the outcome. We had a very difficult time with our house sale with a different agency prior to meeting with Savills, who got the sale back on the rails. I feel the stand out quality of the team was the market guidance they give both buying and selling parties, plus their house tours for purchasers were infinitely more details and positive. First Class, very concerned about finding the 'right' house for our family, not just pitching us on anything in the rough price range. It took over a year for Louise (Kerr) to find our new house, we had dozens of viewings, she was very proactive, never lost patience and listened to all our feedback on the type of house we wanted. We felt that Louise was looking after us, the buyer, as much as the person selling (her client) and that we certainly got a good deal. We have just sold a family home in Stoke D'Abernon, Cobham using Savills in Cobham as our sole agents. We achieved the full asking price and have been very satisfied with the service that Savills provided. In particular we were supported throughout by friendly competent staff who always went the extra mile to secure viewings and report back to us promptly. Ben (Rudd) was our principal contact and applied himself 100% in moving negotiations forward and keeping us informed. He was brilliant at checking progress with (and chivvying up) all the links in the chain beneath - particular with the buyers, solicitors and other agents when things went quiet on us. Ben even contacted us in his own time one Sunday to let us know about discussions the previous day. So we have no hesitation in recommending Ben and his colleagues at Savills in Cobham. We shall certainly go back to them next time we need help on a sale.

So pleased with the attitude and effort of the team - launched their marketing effort in January 2019 and we have now exchanged contracts during the March Brexit “crisis” with a house well into the stamp duty painful range of £100,000 to pay to our wonderful government.
