no deposit back after 10 weeksI rented from John D Wood for 2 years. They were unbelievably incompetent and non-responsive for the entire tenure. now I have to ring them every week to try to get my deposit back.

GoogleMy partner and I recently took occupation of a lovely flat in Cobham. The flat was beautifully presented and we fell in love with it straight away. The support we received from the agent (Charlotte) and support staff (Rose) from John D Wood, was fantastic. Their process, their engagement and their assistance in completing all the necessary paperwork was tremendous. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for property (to buy or let) in this area and surrounds contact John D Wood in the first instance for first class service.

Expect this company to be totally negligent returning your deposit (even if your landlord agreed for this to be released). They will make you chase your own money for weeks after you moved out, an absolute nightmare.

The worst agent service I have ever seen in my life. We have been dealing with them for more than a year. We wrote a letter to them complaining and nothing was ever done. They delegate their work to everyone, they just pretend they work. Never hire them.

J D Wood did a fantatic job helping us sell our flat in Wimbledon Park. We faced a few hurdles that were unexpected but Chris and Lewis got things on track and got the sale through when we had given up. I would thouroughly reccomend them if you are considering selling a property.

Nadia, at John D Wood, was an excellent communicator and frank about the flat, the market and clients. She was obviously knowledgeable about the product, prompt in placing the flat in the market and with viewings. I really would like to give Nadia, at John D Wood the opportunity to rent this flat for me when it becomes vacant again - I really valued and will value Nadia's approach.

Had a really good experience! Ellie Bowers the estate agent I was in contact with was very nice, efficient... She showed me a few properties and really into consideration what I liked and did not liked and found me the ideal flat. Her approach was not as salesy as can be with some other estate agents. Feels like she really cares about her customers. I would highly recommend.

The tenants that JDW found for me in 2019 decided to leave after one year, disappointingly, but JDW (Trinity Road branch, SW18) found two people who appear to be excellent replacements, with only a 10-day void. The necessary arrangements were all made in a professional manner. I'd particularly like to single out Shoeni Oates for the excellent service and advice I've received as an inexperienced landlord.

GoogleI was extremely impressed with the efficiency of the lettings team at this Cobham branch. They managed to find me a new tenant very quickly and answered my correspondence immediately. They were very helpful and accommodating even arranging a last minute check and clean at the property before the tenant moved in. I could not recommend them more for their service and kindness. They went above and beyond.

Awful experience. Reached end of tenancy and despite instructions being followed and agreement with the Landlord, no return of deposit as yet. Seem incapable of resolving the issue - or do not want to do so. A sad end to the tenancy and completely unnecessary. I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Terrible agents, a bunch of kids who do not know what they’re doing. Awful at keeping you updated on the progress and very disorganised. You have to chase them and only to find out that something hasn’t been done or done too late thus you ending up missing out on the property! What a waste of time
