Jamie was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish! We went sale agreed in June and just got our keys last week , the process with Jamie was seamless and he was so helpful with any questions or things we needed to get done he was always there for support! Were first time buyers so it’s definitely daunting when going into the property market but he took the time and really listened to what we were looking for, was really efficient getting back to us throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend Jamie as an auctioneer if you’re buying /selling!

A lack of decency

Yes the housing market is a mess and your in the business of making money but would it kill you to have the decency to send a quick email explaining the situation to people. Got to the stage where we were supposedly picked to send our details to the landlord. Never heard another word despite texts and calls. Waiting for word but was completely ghosted. This is people's lives yous are playing with. A 30 second email to say we hadn't got the place would have been enough so we could move on from that one. Maggie O'Shea was our agent.

I had the pleasure of dealing with John Sullivan in the Finglas office. His help was invaluable to me as I was selling my brother in law’s (deceased) house. I am glad to have Abby as the first estate agent (or sales negotiator) I ever worked with for the purchase of my very first home. She was helpful and responsive to my queries and questions. The part I am most grateful for was that she was understanding of my visa delay situation and willing to wait, instead of trying to push for the closing of the sale as quickly as possible (which some dodgy agents would probably do). A shame we couldn't meet in person on closing day, but she was ready on the other end of the phone to ensure a smooth transition from the final inspection to closing.

Continue from the other account: You never asked about the status of my sale and told me the status of the vendor but pushed me and accused me the first time we got interaction again. You gave me a lot of unnecessary pressure as clearly the their sale is not in that rush( need to be closed in two weeks or one month). You said a lot of things that are untrue to make things easier / beneficial to you ( cash buyer/vendor of the vendor is pushing ) but leave me to take all the costs( valuation, solicitor, surveyor, house price rising over months) Things will not be so complicated or complicated or end up like this if there is a more professional or open agent! I know as a buyer, all the things they have done above are legal. I can only take this by myself and the only thing I can do is to leave a comment here but if you want to deal with an agent who cannot be open and honest, please choose him! Or if you believe this is how business should be done please choose him! I hope the comment will not be taken down as every word above is true. Or if anyone from customer service team sees this and you really want the best for the business, please consider every word I have said above. Now if I reviewed what happened and I see it is quite normal for people to take several months from sales agreed to close. Here is the story: Eimhin wanted to quickly get sales agreed with the house either from the Ray Cooke or the vendor( as they need sales agreed offer to bid on another property) so promised that he will let me view again after getting sales agreed ( although it never happen) and then ignore my message and call as it is not if any benefit to him. Then he suddenly pushed me to close everything in two weeks after almost two months no contact as he gets pressure from the vendor and also I don’t know what he told the vendor as they said they don’t know I have a property to sell or probably he told the vendor that I already sold the property. Anyway, it is ridiculous that he asked me to close everything in two weeks after 2 months no contact…… normal sales won’t push like this….. we have not reviewed contract yet so usually it is normal for the solicitor to take maybe 1 month at least to review the contract…… but he asked me to close in 2 weeks and told me taking two months is unacceptable lol while it actually takes them 4 months since then……The vendor and Eimhin want more money after using me as sales agreed file to bid on another property so they are giving me ridiculous pressure….. You can see how evil and selfies people can be. Thanks for reading .
