I have been househunting for the past 3 months, dealt with endless estate agents and I was getting very sick of their couldn't care less attitude. I enquired about a property managed by Knightsbridge, I wasn't expecting much due to my poor experiences with other companies but I was incredibly wrong! I spoke with Chris who was helpful from start to finish, he went above and beyond and has kept me up to date throughout our proceedings so far. Even if I miss a call he will leave a VM and even call back. A credit to Knightsbridge - thank you for everything so far.

Marnie has been absolutely amazing through out the entire process from the beginning of my frantic request for a home NOW!😆, to when I barged into their office to regale her with tales of woe and the uphill battle of finding a house 'The House' -shouldn't be so particular in these competitive times, but I was adamant and she listened whilst I rambled on and she never failed to keep me in mind when something would come up. I did find my new home and even though in the end it wasn't with Knightsbridge, I absolutely appreciate the help that Marnie provided. For the most part, Knightsbridge made my purchase of my first home as simple and as straightforward as you can reasonably expect. They never caused any delays and it was a nice touch with the gifts upon completion (much appreciated, team!). The reason I give 4/5 is that, for maybe the first month of the purchasing process, it felt a little too obvious that the agents were on the seller's side. Yes they rely on completion for their cut etc but I'd have appreciated a little more sympathy at times. I can't remember what her name was (completion was several months ago) but my agent misquoted something put forward by the seller (which I obviously contested) and she seemed frustrated once or twice with me carrying out additional checks on the property; a purchase that involves me sinking my life's savings is not something I take lightly and I was not going to rush it, regardless of the seller's preferences. Fortunately Jessica took over for the final stretch of the purchase, she's a great asset to your team and was a pleasure to work with. You hear some real horror stories with some house buys but Knightsbridge are definitely one of the better teams out there. I'd certainly use them again.

When I had gotten locked out of the house, Knightsbridge were so supportive and came out after verification and let me in even though it was out of business hours, I got in contact with Alex on WhatsApp who was so helpful, the lettings manager then got in contact and it was all resolved within the hour and now I am back inside. This is absolutely incredible service considering it was out of hours and I want to pass on my thoughts on the amazing customer service from Jake, the lettings manager and Hannah, they were all amazing and I can't thank you all enough. ❤️

I recently used Knightsbridge Estate Agents to sell my house and can really recommend the service they provide. At the beginning of the process when Keith valued my property he was kind, professional and was really knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The marketing of the property was first class with the sales details, pictures and video of the property. The sales team including Amy, Joel and fantastic Jake worked really hard to convert viewings into offers on the property and I always knew they were looking after my best interests - a BIG Thank You! I have to give a special mention to Jessica who was in contact with me throughout the whole time the house was on the market - the level of care and advice she offered was brilliant and really appreciated. Overall, I knew that the sales team wanted to do a really good job for me and that was great to know. Finally, once an offer had been received I was then in the safe hands of Stacey to progress the sale from offer to completion. A job she did brilliantly always responding to my questions in a timely way and always following up on any actions that were needed. She kept me calm and sane during what can be a stressful process. Avoid Knightsbridge Professional Lettings at all costs, dishonest, unprofessional, and money-grabbing.

I would give zero stars if I could. We applied for a rental property in Leicester and paid a holding deposit of £230 in good faith. Despite being fully transparent and meeting the affordability checks, Knightsbridge decided to withhold our money under the flimsy excuse of “false or misleading information.” Their reasoning? A CCJ on my husband’s file, something we had absolutely no clue about. It was linked to an old address, for a minor parking fine, and is already in the process of being removed by the courts. When I was shocked on the call (thinking the refusal was down to a six-year-old default), Chris told me to “download our credit files.” Later he twisted the story, claiming “you must have known since the CCJ is satisfied.” Utter nonsense. Paying a balance when you get a one-off call from a debt collection company does not mean you know a CCJ has been lodged. We had no idea, we were simply told about an outstanding balance after being unreachable, and we cleared it immediately. That’s why it shows as satisfied. I had to continuously chase Knightsbridge, and by the time they finally told us the tenancy would not go ahead, I was left with just 6 days to find another property. The agency knew exactly how desperate our situation was, yet still chose to waste our time and keep our money. Do they really think we’re stupid enough to lie? I’ve rented for 14 years without a single issue and know full well that lying would mean losing my deposit. Make it make sense. To make matters worse, the tenancy could have gone ahead in my name alone. I passed affordability, had a guarantor lined up, and even offered to pay six months’ rent upfront, yet this was refused. Instead, they happily pocketed the deposit, showing nothing but greed and bad faith. This isn’t just unprofessional, it’s exploitative, dishonest, and predatory. Most agents would have proceeded with the stronger applicant, or at least refunded the deposit. Knightsbridge did neither. They were unhelpful, and showed zero interest in working with us fairly. Yes, my £230 deposit has been STOLEN, but this review isn’t about the money. For me, it’s a small amount. I’m writing this to warn others: be extremely careful when renting through them, and read all the other negative reviews that echo the same behaviour. Knightsbridge might think they’ve gained by keeping my deposit, but in reality, they will lose far more in the long run. I may have lost a little bit, but you, through your greed, will lose triple when property owners see how you treat people and take their business elsewhere. I have already warned two individuals not to go to them with their new properties. If this is how they treat prospective tenants before you even move in, imagine the nightmare of being tied into a tenancy with them. Knightsbridge Professional Lettings = greedy, untrustworthy, and unethical.

Is there a 6th star option?!? Wow! My partner & myself needed to find a long term rental property in/around Leicester and we worried it was going to be a long & stressful process. However….. …. We looked at just one properly that stood out for us and logged interest late one evening. We received an immediate, out of hours WhatsApp communication (which clearly appeared as legitimate - not a concerning ‘half hearted’ spam text). Then it was really easy to communicate & get a viewing booked. As an extremely busy sector, we anticipated a little bit of a waiting time, in this case 1 week. The following day, Marnie called me with a cancellation and I viewed the property the following day. A second viewing was also made available so my partner could visit. We loved the property, then were told how to quickly & easily apply (with a timeline of future viewing - so we got first refusal). Chris then got in touch and it was just all so simple & easy - all within the same WhatsApp conversation from the first evening, so applying was simple. The property was immediately taken offline (we checked this - as we didn’t want to be part of a bidding war) and we then had frequent & straightforward communication regarding ‘next steps’. Chris & Marnie supported us throughout all of the holding deposit, application & referencing phases (even with Chris away on annual leave during this). The experience we’ve had has honestly been perfect, so considering the UK rental market currently.. we are extremely grateful! Carolyn in the office was brilliant and always on hand to help as well as Denise our sale progressor who always had time for my phone calls and resolved any issues as quickly as she could.
