We tried to purchase a house through Knightsbridge. The agency were great at keeping us informed. The purchase process took over a year, due to difficulties with gaining vacant possession of the property.
Special mention for Jake who stepped in when the purchase started to go awry.
He maintained a level of effort, communication and professionalism that was very refreshing.
In the end the purchase didn’t go through, but that was in no way down to Jake or his team.
The market changed and we were unable to agree a fair market price.
If you need an agent that is prepared to go the extra mile and will try to assist you all the way then I would highly recommend Knightsbridge. They provide a first class reliable service with good honest advice and all done with a level of respect and always with a smile.

FacebookAt the beginning they were the perfect estate agents...keeping us updated, on the market especially Gemma and Jake both were exceptional but as you progress you don't hear from them, it gets passed onto a sales progressor, in our case Sam.... as things progressed we noticed the way they were playing all of us the 'most annoying' for example (one that cost us)...they misadvertised property to include x,y,z but did not include it, something which came to light later with solicitors and i then raised with the Sam and also the manager Glen. but all he had to say to their wrongful and misleading Advert was either we buy or not...with the audacity to say he will support us fully!! this comes months into the sale when we have already put money towards solicitors,searches, surveys etc.. ...after this they never called us despite us selling a house with them ...still not heard from them.. there were other games played which we managed to resolve with vendors/buyers since we had contact with them...despite all their lies and dirty games im suprised i did not flip at them...
use their pre-sales; it's really good, but only progress if you want a big hole in your pocket and a bad after taste.. there are better more honest agents out there and much cheaper also.... also a good idea to get contact numbers of people you are buying/selling to this prevents fall outs and to get things completed sooner.. I know we did!

Firstly, we would like to thank you for taking the time to give your review. We appreciate that not all reviews can be perfect, but we feel it is important that people do have their opportunity to give their opinion. Obviously, we are disappointed to read your comments and I will answer the points one by one. Great to hear that Jake and Gemma looked after your initial enquiry, and you are correct that once a sale is agreed it is passed to a dedicated progressor. This enables the negotiators to spend their time matching properties to clients and helping other clients realise their dreams. As a company we have dedicated staff to look after the sale as it passes through the process and this has long since proved to improve our completion times to be amongst the fasted in the country. Other feedback from our clients prove that this is a popular strategy and means you have one point of contact.
We certainly do not play clients off against each other and the fact that you were communicating directly with your sellers means that conversations you have had and agreements you make are not recorded on the system. In response to your comments of mis-description then this is something which we will strongly defend. As a seller of ours you will know that we will not advertise a property and give out sales particulars until they are signed off and approved by the sellers. In your case you know that the property you bought had certain appliances included on the details which the sellers had approved and agreed to sell within the price. We wholeheartedly agreed with you that these should be included and that you should not be put in the position that you should need to buy these items again. I think at this point it is important to say that the owners should have ensured that these items were left as per the agreement. In reality as they were keen to take these couple of items then they could have replaced them for similar appliances for a very minor cost.
We felt strongly that you had a good case and once it reached stalemate, we were supporting your decision not to proceed to purchase and understood your frustration. As you knew of the owners from the local community and decided to back down and proceed to completion then you clearly took a good moral stance. I am sure you can appreciate that when we are fighting your corner and looking to reaching a conclusion that meets with your satisfaction it is not helped when we are being told from the other side that you have spoken directly and not worried about these items. It is very difficult for any agent to be in the middle of difficult and complex negotiations when we are not privy to private conversations between buyer and seller. I do not feel that holding an agent responsible for this is fair or correct. Under normal circumstances we would have contact with you at key collection but you arranged this directly with the sellers but hopefully you received the gift and card from us at your new home.
There are certainly cheaper agents out there but they will not spend the time and money that we do in order to ensure that sufficient staff are on hand to help our clients. We are clearly the top selling agent in the area and achieve the highest prices for our sellers. We are also very proud to be shortlisted as one of the top 5% of agents in England which is thanks to our team of dedicated professionals.
