Possibly one of the worst experiences in my life, the whole process from start to finish was not far from a year, I'll list just some of the problems/issues I can remember The solicitors (Haart recommended, Talbots Law) said they had lost my initial paperwork, which wasted a month because they didn't tell me, but it was there all the time. I had to chase the flat owner below for insurance documents, which shouldn't be my responsibility. It took about a month for the solicitors to tell me that my insurance documents I had sent were not sufficient. Haart employee constantly badgering for reviews from the start, to progress their position, this came across in my opinion as very unprofessional, and to be perfectly honest was very annoying. Haart interfering with the property we are looking to buy, by giving us misleading information saying it was going through probate when it wasn't. I don't see what our purchase had to do with them in the slightest. Generally everything just took way too long, weeks/months would pass with little or no progress, with most of the time me chasing the solicitors just to receive the same response with no estimated timescale for the work to be done. So really to sum up, I would not recommend either Haart or Talbots Law to anyone, lack of communication, urgency and professional standard fell well below what I was expecting, definitely not worth the money they charge. Edit : I followed the link Samantha emailed me asking for a review (and she asked a lot of times).
