After complaining to Bowls Scotland about a Harper McLeod solicitor displaying bullying and controlling behaviour, as well as telling lies, he’s now blocked my email address, as well as Harper McLeod refusing to get involved.I must be clear that this unacceptable behaviour was in his role as Bowls Scotland Disciplinary Officer, which really makes no difference.The guy’s a bully, tried to control me, and told lies, all of which I had evidence of.I’d avoid using this guy at all costs, but due to Trustpilot’s rules, I cannot name this despicable individual.

Puportedly an awful legal practice with their head office in Glasgow and branch offices in Edinburgh, Inverness and small northern towns HM like to think of themselves as a superior legal practice -however they are sadly quite medicore and some of their partners - as noted in other reviews - but interestingly. not the same people or probably even the same office are priggish, dismissive as well as aggressive in the way they approach their work. They must have been watching too much L.A. Law or Boston Legal or the like...It seems some of those connected with HM go out of their way to be as obnoxious as they can be - may be even some hold it out as a badge of (dis)honour!A person's demenour and the way they treat others speaks volumes about their integrity.... alas HM appears to have a lot of prigs as partners - a shame for those who aren't. Incompetence appears to be a hallmark of HM, as well as a thrusting obsessiveness which is in marked evidence - why else reply during the weekend within the half hour? Is it any wonder mistakes are made which are priggishly waved aside...If you're in need of more than mediocre lawyer you could do much better than to choose HM, who rival such legendary firms such as Delay Worry and Expense, or even Sue Grabbit and Run, for all round incompetence....

FacebookBy far, the worst experience I’ve had with any service. And I have dealt with a lot of solicitors. They are rude, abrasive and so unhelpful to the point that they would rather be awkward than help you.
When asking why we needed to provide some sensitive information, the response was shocking, including and I quote “clearly this matter is going to be more hassle than it is worth”.
They refused to represent us, because we wanted to know why they required this particular information.

I chose this firm because they were cheapest in Inverness. They told me my sale would be completed within a few weeks but it took 6 months. I had 1 conversation with Gary who is a partner, he was rude, aggressive, and would neither listen nor answer my questions. I would never recommend this firm due to Gary C.
