TrustpilotAvoid the St Albans branch- rude and offhand
Ignore my username on this- I should rebrand to Unhappy Customer! The St Albans branch are terrible. The agent we dealt with was late, rude and offhand and not transparent with what was happening with the offer process (we are looking to both buy and sell). We are currently reconsidering agents to sell our house and on the basis of our experience will never work with Strutt and Parker. Apalling.

Strutt & Parker are brilliant - in particular Andrew Harwood and the team. I could not fault their professionalism, knowledge and expertise. The viewings at our property were always very accommodating and done with a smile! Their attention to detail is spot on. I hope to do business again in the future!

Viewed a property with them and offered in writing as requested after the appointment. Didn’t hear anything back for a few days so called to chase and to be told another offer was accepted. I wasn’t called to ask if I wanted to increase my offer which I would have done to the asking price or even over asking price.The viewing assistant said on the appointment the house will be redecorated before move in and to make sure we put that down on the offer which we did. When I called them to check on my offer they said they have gone with another offer because they didn’t want it painted. (We didn’t request this but the agent said it would be so we wrote it down)They sound absolutely clueless on the phones and obviously don’t communicate or know how to work for their landlords or they could have got more money from me.Told the lady I wouldn’t rent from them ever after this first experience with them all I can say very disappointing for a ‘well known’ agent in the area.

Attended Sevenoaks branch on Saturday, to initially register interest for our property search. Contemptuous manner to see us for enquiry as near to closing hours, when we were then reluctantly asked our budget, rudely scoffed they do not deal with properties at £525k, minimum is £675k. Albeit we were too poor for your property stock on this occasion, there is a way to conduct your services professionally.

GoogleI have recently been in touch with the Cirencester office of Strutt & Parker. They listened to what I was looking for, kept in touch by phone regularly (no other agent even bothered to call me) and I have to say that out of all the agents I registered with, they were the only ones who were cheery, helpful and genuinely tried to help me. Who said estate agents don’t care anymore? S&P in Cirencester certainly do!

Really rubbish agency, I have no heating in my flat yet they completely ignored any emails I have sent them about this issue , really unprofessional people, I personally dealt with Shanon Flanagan and Jay O'Dell from Cadogan Street London and they are both very unprofessional and just plain rude and lazy people.

Poor customer service and failure to keep assurances.I requested details on a development in shrewsbury and was told they would be sent to me by the the agent promoting the property. Several weeks passed without any contact, so I called again and was told the agent would get back to me within the hour; needless to say, he did not. Very unprofessional.
