Ash Harwood at Strutt & Parker was the third agent to value our property, and from the moment he walked through the door, I knew he was the person we wanted to entrust with our sale. Ash arrived exceptionally well prepared, enthusiastic, and with a clear, strategic approach that immediately gave us confidence we were in highly capable professional hands. As property developers, we work with estate agents regularly and have extensive experience of the industry, so we do not make such observations lightly. Working with Ash was a genuinely refreshing experience and set a standard far above what we have encountered elsewhere. From the outset, his primary focus was achieving the very best possible outcome for us while providing a comprehensive, proactive, and highly professional service. Ours was a particularly challenging sale for a number of reasons, yet Ash managed the entire process with remarkable skill and composure. Andrew Ligertwood from Strutt & Parker was incredible.

From the first time we met Andrew we felt confident he was the person to take our home to market. He understood us, how much a home we had built and lived in for 30 years was a bittersweet move, however the time was right to down size. He definitely understood the market, we did have some hard conversations. However time PROVED he was absolutely correct. From start to finish everything was pretty easy, and to be honest we still cannot believe how easy. This was thanks to Andrew and all the Strutt & Parker Team in Edinburgh. Everything was explained carefully and clearly. We felt looked after and cared for. Always with the upmost professional care, respect and attention to detail. We don’t normally write reviews, but in this case, my wife and I were so impressed and happy with the service provided by Strutt and Parker, and in particular by Aaron Turner, that I felt I should, in the true spirit of reviews, to offer help to those who are seeking insight into Strutt and Parker! We selected Strutt and Parker because we liked the clear market insights and the realistic approach to marketing our house, offered by Aaron Turner at our initial meeting. Once selected Aaron Turner was directly responsible for acting on our sale, but he did so much more, working to coordinate agents and solicitors above and below us in the chain, as well as keeping communications open and frequent with our buyers even when things went temporarily wrong in the chain. Best estate agent we have dealt with

We have just exchanged contracts on a house marketed by Strutt & Parker, and Aaron Turner has been a delight to work with. Although he was acting for the vendor, he invested more time and energy in keeping our purchase moving than our own estate agents did with our sales. He is calm, measured, experienced, and a great communicator. When my partner’s sale fell through and we had to pull out of the chain temporarily, Aaron was constructive and realistic about the steps needed to get things moving again quickly. Today we exchanged not only on our purchase, but also on the sales of both our properties, and Aaron has kept up momentum behind the scenes by proactively contacting all parties involved.
