Edward Thomson of Strutt and Parker is the real deal in a tank full of sharks in the London real estate market. His advice when I bought a short-lease apartment in Cadogan Place was invaluable. I have since gone on to refurbish the property and extended the lease to create some real value. I’d trust Ed, whether on the buy or sell side. He’s in it for the long-term, and repeat business is his goal. A relationship, not just a quick fling!

A great service and experience working with the Canterbury Strutt & Parker team. Ed and Aaron gave a realistic valuation for the property and excellent advice in a tricky climate for selling. The ladies who showed the house on my behalf were also brilliant, getting to know about it to field viewers’ questions. My property quickly attracted purchasers and Ed worked alongside me as we negotiated an unusual timeframe for the sale and help to close the deal. Always available with advice, Ed also helped to smooth and progress the legal journey to completion. Overall a great experience and I felt I good hands throughout making a usually stressful transaction relatively plain sailing. Thank you to the whole team.

I recently bought a property through Aaron and can't recommend him highly enough. This wasn't a simple transaction, and there were a few points where it could easily have stalled. Aaron stayed calm and professional throughout, kept everyone moving, and worked hard to find solutions which suited both sides. His communication was outstanding. I got updates several times a day, including evenings and weekends if needed. I never had to chase him for anything. I doubt we'd have got over the line without him. Thank you, Aaron

Truly terrible estate agents. For the past five days both my husband and I have contacted them repeatedly to ask for a home report for a property they're advertising for sale with no response. Recorded voicemail when you call does not return the messages left, and gives an office number to call if "urgent" but that number loops you back to the same voicemail. Nick, you suck at your job. The chat bot they have takes your request and doesn't get back to you. The number to dial via Rightmove gets you nowhere either. Honestly, if I was selling through them I'd be incredibly unhappy. Truly awful company offering no service to buyers.

Ben was truly amazing with all the daily phone calls to solicitors when things came to bit of a halt due to legal niggles and ensured all parties were able to move forward. GoogleWe bought a probate property from the executors via S&P. At times the deal looked vulnerable because of delays created by the executors’ intransigence and lack of preparation. Ben managed their behaviour as well as one could I think. The property has an overage clause which took some discussion to negotiate from an unreasonable 50 years to a tolerable but greedy 20 years. It became clear that a neighbour has access to our property via a gate. S&P, in Ben’s absence, were not helpful in explaining this. But those irritations fade and we now live in the Cotswolds.
