We engaged Strutt & Parker to sell our country house property in May 2023. This turned out to be a very difficult period for property sales. We felt S & P gave us every support during this time, with regular communication, realistic appraisals and an enduring interest. We didn't feel that we went 'stale' and throughout the process S & P continued to promote our property and seek a buyer culminating in a successful sale. No nonsense approach

We engaged with Strutt and Parker Perth, because I liked Hamish’s no nonsense approach and his approachable style. Nothing has been too much trouble for Hamish or Amy. And they have made a difficult sale in a challenging market as stress free as they could. Whether it be show clients round, pick up keys, or give advice. The handholding when I was an overly anxious seller waiting for missives to conclude was second to none. S&P- A highly professional, efficient agency.

I am so glad I chose S&P to sell my large Georgian home. I have a long history of buying and selling houses so I almost expected the pitfalls and inefficiency that have become predictable from other agents. However, S&P's Consultant Gina Simpson made it a very short and pain-free process. I am sure behind the scenes she worked very hard, but for me her no fuss, no headache, and professional approach made it all go orderly and smoothly to its conclusion. Her negotiation skills on our behalf meant we ( she ) achieved almost the asking price in a home that is so unique it could easily have stuck around on the market if left to other agents' middle-of-the-road efforts.Gina is empathetic, full of great ideas and initiative for overcoming hurdles and is also very personable and pleasant to work with. As this was a sale of my father’s estate which I do not live close to, I did not have direct contact with any of the staff although my two brothers did. Having said this I was very impressed with the attention to detail, email communication and feedback received following all the viewings. Sadly our experience hasn't been great…

Sadly our experience hasn't been great with Strutt & Parker.Here is some honest feedback about our experience!1. Promises and deadlines for marketing our property were undelivered2. The photo shoot was that bad we had to appoint our own photographer.3. Once a viewing was booked we'd spend hours preparing our property to look its best and after the viewing we'd receive zero feedback.This was on the selling side only.Ref the purchasingWe were in a chain whereas both properties were marketed by Strutt and Parker. The vendors of where we were purchasing decided they couldn't find anywhere suitable after we'd spent £2500 on legal fees. If this was not bad enough we were even more mortified when Strutt & Parker willingly re-marketed the property just a few months later for £50k more without even consulting us first.This will be costly to Strutt & Parker going forwards as we are property developers in the area, and they could have generated a lot more business from us, however we have gone with another agent who will be selling 5 properties for us in the first instance.
