GoogleWould give more than 5 stars if we could! The team at Bennett Lorusso are absolutely exceptional, with Laura's after-sales service and contact second to none. We have just moved house after a very lengthy 18 month process (due to issues at the top of the chain) and as a result had to sell our property through Bennett Lorusso 3 times over! ... Mike, Alan and Laura made it as stress free as possible and couldn't do enough to keep everything on track and us smiling. They are professional yet personable - everything was done with our best interests at heart and it felt like we were in safe hands throughout. I think Laura was just as relieved and excited as us when we finally exchanged! We had to deal with numerous estate agents during the long process and none even came close to the incredible service we received from Bennett Lorusso. In fact, some made us realise how lucky we were to have chosen so well! Look no further if you want a reliable estate agent who will guide you seamlessly through what is often a very stressful process. They are always contactable and more than happy to help :)

GoogleI am really upset and disappointed with how the company has treated myself and my partner through our experience of purchasing our first property. In the beginning they were lovely, but when a hiccup arose with the property they were selling they were nothing but bullies. Our case was taken over by Mike Lorusso, who proceeded to bully a young couple by giving us ultimatums which were out of our control. We tried to tell him we were working as hard as we could to get answers on our part , but half of the issue was on their end. We told him this multiple times but he kept threatening to put the property back on the market for more money. Money was mentioned a lot when talking to Mike lorusso, all he seemed to care about was how much commission he was going to make. We tried to call him to talk about the property and the updates but he did not say much, instead shut us down. When buying your first property this is not what we had in mind, we were dedicated to seeing it through to the completion, but he had other ideas. To top it all off, they told us they would proceed to put the property back on the market, but would still like us to carry on with the purchase until they got someone else. This is outrageous. We really wish we could say we would recommend them, but unfortunately we do not.
Hi Keelyn, I am sorry to hear how you feel about us and I wish that you had called, house purchase can indeed be a stressful time and we try to manage the process as best we can, thankfully we get a lot of praise for how we do it. I have never been called a bully in my long career and the thousands of people I have helped over the years, would certainly say to the contrary. The vendor and BL were more than patient through the transaction, but after nearly 16 weeks waiting, your lender says ‘they are not willing to lend’, this was a bit of a blow. After a few days of being promised an update from yourself and your financial adviser, I had to carry out my vendors wishes and go back to the market. When you say ‘money was mentioned a lot’ this was because the property had increased in value and it was in your best interest to pursue another course to help get over the problem & nothing to do with greed on the part of the vendor or ourselves. I have never once mentioned commission, I don’t work on commission and the company’s fee structure is one of the most competitive in town, with a no sale, no fee policy, so we gain nothing from this. The vendor was keen for you to still buy the property at the discounted price, especially after all the efforts made so far but, they also wanted to keep their options open in case the delay/issue became insurmountable. Sorry you have withdrawn from the purchase now and we wish you the very best of luck with your search. Mike.

GoogleWe brought our first home back in January 2025, from our offer being accepted October 2024, Bennett Lorusso made sure we were kept in the loop with regular updates and answered all questions we had to ask in a way we would understand as first time buyers. From the viewings with Alan to right at the end, they were honestly amazing. I would highly recommend them, Laura dealt with our case and she was great! Alan and Mike handled all the viewings, resulting in three offers within a week of the house going on the market. Laura then provided us with regular progress updates, chasing relevant parties when the inevitable delays arose. Overall a first-class service, very highly recommended.

GoogleTHE BEST AROUND!!!!! Alan, Mike, Laura and the team are absolutely fantastic. They have a huge amount of local knowledge which is invaluable in knowing how to market your home. Nothing at all was too much trouble… after various reasons we had to market our property several times and Alan, Mike and the team accommodated us on every occasion. We both work full time and all viewings were arranged to suit us and the communication was second to none!! GoogleAn absolute delight of a company to work with from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I appreciated the document received at the beginning of my purchase which outlined the order of all the stages of house purchase. Laura kept me informed of all developments as we progressed, and she was always very happy to find out anything I asked her. And nice that Mike was looking out for me to hand over the keys so I could quickly park up near the office. Would definitely recommend them.
