I would highly recommend Autograph Estate Agents. They have acted well and professionally both on my sale and purchase. There were times that they have gone beyond their remit of what needed to be done and what some other estate agents in my experience have done. My purchase was complex and they were always contactable and in contact to update me with information. They have always been friendly, helpful and approachable. The legal side of the sale turned out to be quite long and protracted but Sam was always there at the end of the phone calmly trying to chase people up and help things along. We were really pleased with autograph from the start to the end. They were very professional, it took a bit longer than we thought for the photographs to be processed but they were very good and once we approved the brochure the house was marketed. Viewings were accompanied and we always got feedback in a timely way. Once we had a purchaser we had regular up dates letting us know how the chain was forming and they pushed things a long. Highly recommend.

Another successful sale completed with very little drama by John, Joely and the rest of the superb Autograph team. Every member of the staff is always right on the ball when its comes to in depth knowledge on your house, this makes a huge difference when they show potential buyers around your property. They always accompany buyers, never stumble when the buyer has questions and they have a superb grasp of local market conditions. I genuinely believe that without their input our house would still be on the market and we would not have completed. There is a real skill involved in marketing a property and Autograph are second to none in this respect. In an age when the internet appears to be king these guys prove that there are circumstances when you just have to have local knowledge, it may cost a little more on completion but its well worth it..

A year before I put the house on the market, John came to value the property. He assured me he had sold several houses on the estate and had the local knowledge that would be invaluable in making a sale. A year later, he remembered me by sight and the house and advised an asking price above what I was considering. Phil showed the possible buyers around, and within a week I had one offer, which I rejected, and a couple of weeks later had another, which was quickly negotiated to an agreement. It was after that point when the real work began for the Autograph team and Sam came into her own, reassuring me at every stage and pushing forward with calm determination a process of legal technicalities and small hitches that was to take six months. With their positivity, honesty and good sense, the Autograph team made my sale as painless as possible. They kept me informed throughout, gently pushed me if I needed to press my solicitor for an answer to a question and kept my stress levels low with their understanding, experience and warm manner. The presentation of our house details was very profession and John took a real interest in presenting all the details of our non standard house. Their service is a breath of fresh air .On the sale every single viewing was accompanied and every feature of our house was pointed out to prospective buyers ...without doubt this helped achieve a quick sale . When the sale hit problems John stepped in and gave our buyers lots of options ...without that advice the sale would have fallen through . Autograph marketed my Grade 11 listed cottage and I was completely satisfied with how they helped me sell the property. Repairs had to be completed and when the initial buyers withdrew they promptly found new buyers and kept them informed of the progress of the Planning application and repairs. They also kept me optimistic and sane! The staff were all a pleasure to deal with and were friendly and professional. I would fully recommend this agent

I would certainly not recommend this estate agent and most certainly would never use him again. I was so cross after paying over £7,000 for his service that I involved the Property Ombudsman. He even sent me an email admitting that mistakes had been made. I found him to have very poor communications skills. He suggested a completion date when I was not able to proceed and caused confusion which then resulted in a disastrous house move and homelessness. One communication which he misread cost my buyers money which if he had read it properly would have saved them money. In my opinion he operates in a similar way to a car salesman, his cash flow and completing the sale took priority over service. I wished I had used a different estate agent. i would give zero stars if I could.

I recently purchased a property through Autograph after selling with them last year and after other purchase falling through with another agent. Their communication and liaison with solicitors. my seller and other involved parties was second to none. They managed to organise and pull together what was from the start an agreed quick sale. They helped wherever they could, to the point that they even took and sent pictures of a questionable boundary to help my solicitor proceed with his enquiries on the same day. They always got back with my enquiries as quickly as possible, were friendly, extremely professional and all who work there dealt with everything with utmost integrity.
